Death Stranding saved my life. Hadn't felt joy in ages around the time it came out and was in a really dark place mentally. For whatever reason Death Stranding stood out like a lighthouse during that moment. Never cared about the game before beyond " lol wut weird walking game " but at that moment something said buy it, so I did... And holy shit it was like therapy in a video game. Something about the story and the beautiful world... I felt like it was easier to sort out my own issues in my head with every step. I spent well over 100 hours in my first playthrough. I walked as much as I could because every step felt important, and it felt like I would be wasting the game if I sprinted everywhere or used a ton of vehicles outside of what was necessary. And don't even get me started on the Soundtrack. I legit have to be careful when listening to some of my Spotify playlists because if a certain few Death Stranding songs come on, I will have like an emotional flash back that still to this day make me feel things.
I love this game and have been going around to so many reactions to this trailer looking for all the big fans. It makes me happy seeing how hypnotized everyone is with the trailer.

I wholeheartedly adore this comment and completely agree with you. I found death stranding when I was at a pretty low point in my life and something about just delivering packages, exploring the world, and learning the lore was just a perfect distraction from life. This is my comfort game.

Death Stranding 2, Overdose and a new action-espionage game? Hideo Kojima fans are eating like Gods. Can't wait to do another DS record attempt and max-level everyones structures. My mind, body, soul and a box of tissues are ready.

DS2 may answer some parts more straightforward, but also leave new things hanging while at the same time provide answers to these hanging pieces if you just look close enough. Just like DS1 did. There is *ONE* word in this trailer that struck out to me. It's something that *has* crossed my mind before, but I've tossed it out as being too wild. But in the end, it kinda does make sense, so I'm very intrigued to see where this is heading.

My guess is that it's all grown up Louise, existing in two different timelines simultaneously (same as Amelie/Bridget). Sam's *real* flesh and blood daughter - also a repatriate. By blood. Just like Sam (ref transition between two last cutscenes in DS1, and Cliffs C-section and obsession with dolls - Sam repatriated after Lisa/Stillmother was killed *before* Amelie "made Sam a repatriate" by installing doll tech). And maybe also the next EE, at the very least someone with extreme DOOMS levels; at the cave Sam "could only sense them", whereas after Mountain Knot (losing Lou) he could see them. Sam have had his DOOMS powers elevated by Lou proximity, just like Higgs had his levels elevated by Amelie's proximity.
If all that sounds weird, it's because you likely played the game a couple of times max, and never understood the implications of Lucy's interviews, the best hidden and obnoxiously hard to obtain secret in the game. But the last mini-reveal post credits tie nicely into it. If Lucy's interviews change your mind on who BB-28 really is, go back and watch the game several times (10-20, I'm at 40+ myself) over too spot all the new clues supporting it. Obviously we don't have the full story and context yet, so my understanding of the timeline may change. As the game tells the player in a *less* obvious 4th wall breaking moment (paraphrased): "...to connect the dots, you need time. You need perspective".
its Elle Fanning too. If u look carefully when Elle listening conversation at the end of the trailer, these two scenes (Elle listening and Elle on the operating table) just merged together.
