Lovely little build, even if white PCs aren't really my thing. Micro-ATX is the forgotten format of the desktop PC world thesedays, it used to be really popular a decade or so ago until Mini-ITX began to dominate. There were rumblings about the format being ditched altogether by the Mobo OEMs a few years ago. Thankfully that seems to have gone away and there are still a few boards to choose from. ..and the cost of that PSU, lol Asus, you never disappoint with your brand price gouging.
Haha it's actually even cheaper if you dont want white! I am just obsessed with white atm, think I just got bored of black cases I have had over the last decade or so. and yes, the Asus pricing is just insane, its the most I have ever spent on a SFX PSU and if I wasn't going white I would have stuck to my trusty SF750
Question regarding case fans. How many do you have and what direction is the airflow? I bought this case and it came with 3 fans. 1 rear ( intake ) , 1 top (Intake) , 1 front ( Exhaust ). Seemed a bit weird to me. Are you fans setup similarly ?
Wow that case reminds me so much of the mini itx CH160. Being able to handle mico atx boards is a huge plus. Good alternative to the SAMA IM01 and Jonsbo Z20 too. I can't see any real negatives. Especially for the price. I am tempted because I can order this from Aliexpress.
its out of stock everywhere I can't believe it. There's barely any reviews on it. I need it nowww. Closest thing to this is the Lian Li A3 which is larger and 50% more expensive.
@@MashITTech UK. Amazon out of stock, and the only other retailer pcgamingcases has it listed at £99.99 but it is actually out of stock when I contacted their eBay store Yeah I want to avoid the A3 since my graphics card is pretty small and I don’t want extra volume since I’m travelling often. The AliExpress foreign version (powertrain p60) costs about £65-£80 after shipping and taxes but takes a month to ship and questionable aftersales support so also want to avoid that. Its a shame case looks perfect for my needs and spec. If you find a link in stock please update your description and let me know haha
@@MashITTech UK. Amazon and PCGamingCases are both out of stock (PCGC put it to £100 but their eBay store told me out of stock). It's a shame I need it within two weeks. AliExpress P60 version is about £65 and takes over a month to ship :/
I'm a sucker for white, small cases. If you add a monitor, a keyboard, and a mouse, how much it would be? If the total amount is e.g. £2100, how much do you think it is better than a £2100 laptop?
admittedly I used a very expensive monitor, but if you chose say the AW2724 27" 240hz QHD, the white keyboard and mouse you are probably looking at £2000-2100. Performance wise you would need a 4090 laptop to be even remotely close in performance plus this is actually quiet unlike a gaming laptop. I love the portability of gaming laptops but noise is a real killer for me
Hi! Nice video! Want to know if you have the overlay your using for MSI Afterbuner/Rivatuner for sharing or downloading? Or if you did a video on that? Cheers!
@@MashITTech thanks! That would be awesome. Been looking for a clean overlay for Desktop PC that seems familiar to the Steam Deck or the ROG Ally overlay. Cheers!
Man that's a clean nice case. I have my system in a Deepcool matx case in the classical tower build. I want to downsize the footprint but I can not order this case since they do not ship to Romania(Europe). 😥
I have question, would it be possible to still have fans on the bottom of the case even with your gpu there? or would that not be needed as it pulls air from under the case anyway? Sorry I dont really understand how it works.
@MashITTech idk why my reply was deleted, but yeah man if you can, that would be awesome! I really want to do a build in this case. I finished my a3 build last night and it looks super clean, but its a tad too big for an Matx. Its pretty much as wide and long as my Fractal North. The only difference is the height.
Honestly, i think when it comes to speading the thermal paste, you should use something flat and manually spread the paste to make it perfectly even and no paste makes it off the shell of the CPU🤟🤟🤟
I have tried all the various pasting methods and I can get a really good spread with just the pea and when I compared temps there was so little in it I couldn't be bothered with the spread method
How do you afford this stuff?! Ur rich bro. Also i love those mini cases, seems like something you can easily carry in a suitcase, better surround it in foam tho, i think you ahould try having a floorfan blow on the PC seeing if its effective in dropping temperature
Haha I wish I was. All the money we make from TH-cam we put back into buying new laptops and PC parts to make these videos in the hope that one day we get so big we actually do get rich 🤣
@MashITTech Oh you will, all business/ TH-camrs start off small, just keep going. MrBeast started off small and look at him now, in a few years or maybe a decade, I bet you'll be widely known, just keep being you.🥳
Love the case, great share thanks. Nice walkthrough for newbies like me too. No criticisms at all, only personally I'm interested strictly in more budget end components beyond the CPU, so good to know about the case, the board and the cooler, the rest can remain in la-la land for me :) Also, that powered screw driver looks mighty useful - would you recommend one? Any particular features to bear in mind (best size for example)?
And yes, the more MATX the merrier, it seems to be a much more attractive/appealing prospect than ATX if you don't need a high-end gaming pc (even though your build here sure is one).
What sort of budget are you normally interested in? these builds are a new range of videos so we love suggestions to help us make future videos. And the screwdriver is amazing, if I rarely tinkered I am not sure I would invest but because I am often working on PCs it saves so much time!
@@MashITTech I'm only an occasional gamer (1080p is fine for me!) although I need the 6-8 core count for office work. All in I'm looking at sub-£700 for a future-proofed build from scratch (I'm currently planning just that).
no dust filters is a Big no No! 6 core isn't a sweet point, it's still good ( I'm still using Intel gen 10 6/12 cores) but for some time 8/16 is the new Standart in my opinion. for the price good pc you got there.
6 core is still the sweet spot. Since majority of the games runs on 6 or less and the ones that uses more still work fine on 6 core. However, if a builder is wiling to spend more, sure go for 8. So yeah, 6 is sweet and 8 better.
@@MashITTech after checking IONZ website, it looks to me like they are just distributing chinese cases as they were designed by them... And now it is listed at 99.99 pounds, not just 50.
inside the case there is a cable that goes to the PSU and rear of the case that allows you to plug in a power cable at the rear as normal but extends the power into the PSU. Hope this makes sense
Here in Malaysia, we have the exact same MATX casing. But it's labeled as the PowerTrain P60. You can get as low as USD38.
I think it is amazing case for the price! I have loved using it and was expecting poor build quality at that price

what is the used of custom psu cable if you put it just like that? no love for cable management hmmmmm

can it fit 240mm AIO at the top?

that matx is aomost like some itx cases, i think one should avoid itx and just aim for this, case, motherboard, psu, all cheaper on matx

No
