    Dude you are my savior I have been doing cosplay props with foamboard and I had problems making round edges without breaking the foam, now I know another way to do it thank you so much!

    I enjoy hearing you speak. I live in North Carolina. My dad was born and raised in Holland. He died in 1992 and obviously miss him, but it's nice to hear your accent. It's been years since I've heard a Dutch accent. Have a beautiful day ❤️

    A T piece of wood put into drill stand and press into foam really great jig it would make. GREAT INFORMATIVE CHANNEL.

    Now I can make a nice 3D passenger airliner because I reallllllllly think airliners look awesome. HobbyKing should make more planes like the DC-3

    Thank you nice tutorial,, if you have a heat Gun you can try heat the foam board until you think you can bend it....

      i think that only works on porous foam like EVA and plastics like styrene

    Thats a pretty basic bend like cardboard, thats helpful. But, im looking for a convex curve like a shoulder or chest plate of armor.

      thanks :) Regretably That isn't possible with the kind of board I used.. For a shape like that, you would need the foam to be able to Stretch, and paper can't stretch..

    Just take the paper off from the inside of the bend and it will roll right around the curve easy peasy!! Whole lot less work, no measuring no drawing lines no scoring!!

    My Question heroes, when should I or when should I not remove the paper from the dollar tree foam board? Do most people leave it on and use colored packing tape to cover it? Any tips will help ...thanks

      I think experimenting with it a bit yourself would help you get a good understanding of the pro's & cons of doing so..
      In short: removing the paper will make the board a lot lighter, but it will allso remove most of the stiffness of the board..

      Hmm I'm actually not sure what it's called in English.. over here it's called a "geo driehoek".. sooo.. "geo triangle"? you can quickly measure angles with it..

      it is not. Foamboard is "foam" but it has a paper backing on both sides

      @@anatoliipahas586 well "pvc".. I have never build with just plain pvc.. I use foamboard as it is stiff by itself. Depron usually also needs carbon fiber re-enforcement..
      but both have their pro's and con's :)
