Its so different building decks for hellqueue as opposed to high queue or normal queue. A lot less boardwipes for control decks in hellqueue because theres so few aggro decks, and you dont need to build to beat aggro. Just run card draw and 1 for 1s or 2 for 1s
@@Moop321 there is a bit more nuance to it than that but I see your point. A lot more mental chess vs control but be wary that no wipes will get you killed vs Sythis go wide and multiple other creature strats
@@MTGJosh yeah, i agree, i always run a couple, like deluge, but boardwipes are a lot better against battlecruiser decks. Ive been playing ckntrol decks for a while on paper, and since i started playing cedh, ive noticed how few boardwipes i run. Barely any creatures in most decks, but i do run them because of najeela players
I dont really download the deck lists, as i know for a fact i dont have most of the mythic required to build it. However i like the quicker overview of the decks at the intro, as seeing certain cards appear very often across videos motivates me to craft them eventually as a F2P player.
@@MTGJosh Nice! Would love to know your take someday on how to prioritize mytic/rare wildcard spend across diferent color/archetypes for people getting into the genra. I'd sign up for that.
I think it's perfectly reasonable to move the decklist to the discord channel if you want to see the value it's getting you if it adds to your workload. At the end of the day "time is money" (and that's not to say that time literally equals money, but you're spending the time that you may want to use elsewhere to provide a service (somewhat) and it's fair to want some compensation for it). I, personally, don't look at the decklist - I just like seeing the overview, and seeing what appears in the games, and use that to decide if I want to run a particular card. 🙂
Thanks for the deck ! It's powerful and pleasant to play with. I just tweaked it by putting Wash away instead of Strike it rich. Anyway, brilliant job !
Really liked the more in depth deck tech. I download the decks that I wanna try out, and are generally outside of the colours I play, and that have a unique theme, like the darevi discard
More in depth deck techs? He'll yeah, yes the general overviews are good, but for those of us that struggle at rating cards that do similar things knowing why you picked one over the other would be amazing
I really gotta get around to crafting good lands. Ive been playing only mono colour or 2 colour decks for too long. Too much mono blue and mono black 😂
Have you tried reaching out to moxfield about getting metrics for how many people are using your deck list? They might even be interested in sponsoring you
Oh no. If you want to troll hell queue you need to try 5c stax/control with Prismatic Bridge in the command zone. Run Alpha of the Oracle and a few other big hits. Then fill the deck with cheap draw, removal and ramp. For the memes you should run the 11 noncreature shrines as well.
@@jan-kaihugel2250 can you read the title? And did you listen to the introduction? Clearly not. I have many other Bolas videos watch those instead of you're so desperate.
Fun fact: in about 8 months of historic brawl I won every single time I had T1 Ragavan on the play
That doesn't surprise me. I'd like to see the maths for turn 1 dark ritual too

Great to see the classic Grixis
@@Johnaroth i just can't shake that Grixis mage within but we all know I'm a Black Sorcerer inside 😎

I'm f2p too! Just taken me 4 years. The shorter deck intros are 99% of my videos to be fair, this was a one off

I got 8 Oracle triggers in a single turn. 8 copies of the Power 9 shuffled in. 😂
