We made our community vote for one deck to represent each year since 2010, recruited 16 Pauper Experts to play a 5-round tournament, and now we bring you each match of the Top 8. Felicia is playing Andrea and either Goblins or All That Glitters could be knocked out of the tournament.

That last play from Mengu was actually pretty genious. I would have definetly just missed that interaction

Guys... they put that card for this kind of situation, he did just the obvious, Andrea is fucking good but that was not a genious play from him but a missplay from Felicia.

Yeah, that was great. After the initial pause you can see her thoughts go from "That's a clever play!" to "Oh I just lost".
I have to admit, seeing Mengu giving protection from red to an opponent creature to win is truly a master move. this is what differentiates a great player from a champion. GG!
I'd say this play diferenciates a competitive player vs a casual one

@@gabrygualtieri7459 what would have been impresive is her noticing the interaction before attacks since menguci has played the deck before and knows the cards very well and he's a strong player but seeing a nieche interaction like that out of a sb card of an opponent is really hard
@@cat4luny4 that's true for sure! Personally I think I would have conceded if I was in mengu. But yes knowing your deck and his interactions is very very important
@@cat4luny4 It would have been even more impressive but wouldn't change anything given Andrea had unblockable lethal on the swingback and she didn't have any other better lines. Even if she saw it, the best line was exactly what she did and hoping he didn't see it.

ATG is a broken card, but he only played it once, it would still be a great afinity deck without ATG.

I am really happy to have seen Felica (hope that is spellt right) more on the channel since I always thought she was a blast and especially that she got the the finals with GOBLIN. And if you remeber I was the student that recognized you at the Schwules Museum.
She's a delight, funny and charming and I love the way she explains things, always provides the perfect amount of information without breaking the flow of the game.

Protection vs hexproof.
Protection stops you from doing things to your creatures also!

It definitely was against the odds versus affinity but we thought "we know what's gonna happen" with the pestilence matchup as well, so...
That play at the end caught me off guard, i totally didn't think of it 😂

Crazy how the newest deck is the one with banned cards and the oldest one, that made it through the entire tournament no less, has none!

That world be so good. Yes there would be a lot of counterspells but it would be so good to show that all the broken things cancel each other out so you really have to play good magic to win.
Legacy and Vintage are 2 of the best formats (or at least they used to be, haven't kept up with them since the last Vintage Super League). So I'd love to see those :)
That last play was mind-blowing, 100% would've missed it.

Please continue the series. I'd love to see brackets for Pioneer and Legacy. This format is a lot of fun and your editing is top notch!
That was so good with the Acolyte using it on opponent's creature. I use put Vines of Vastwood in sideboard for those types of plays. Love it.
I love the way you put the extra information on the screen in a way it's super helpful and doesn't take away from the play or players.
new series: 1. best control deck ever and it's all four hour long videos of control decks from different eras playing each other, 2. best RDW deck ever and it's all five minute long videos of whoever was on the play winning.

Love the "JUDGE!" moment in the final, especially with the old cards they wording leaves some wiggle room and it was perfectly, it was skillful till then, but to see that line is what gives me hope that magic is decided by skill and not (only) lucky draws
