  • I am impressed with the quality of this firearm for the price. I did have the one problem but that can happen with anything. It was easy to fix so I am going to pass it for now. I say get one while they are cheap!

    I saw this gun a few days ago and kept looking for videos about the performance and trigger. Being that its a Glock aluminun frame clone is a great thing!! And it takes glock mags. My only skepticism is the longevity and the reliability. I would love to see another video from you about the reliability after 1k or 2k rounds.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I have a 1000 round review and it did pretty well. I did a basic trigger job and it has a good trigger now. I currently have about 1340 rounds through it. The only issues I have had are the connector, the red dot mounting screws coming loose, and one of the fiber optic sight tubes has came loose. I have been really rough on it and so far it has performed well.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. One thing I forgot to mention in my review was the fact that the grip is 1/10 of an inch wider than a Glock. That doesn't sound like much but some people have trouble with the Glock grip so that extra thickness may make a difference to them.

    I'd like the frame only, that slide looks cool mo d getto. I wonder if a PSA Dagger slide would fit on it?

    • @gillysguns9244
      @gillysguns9244  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching and the comment. I don't think the dagger slide will fit. I think the dagger is a Glock pattern slide.
      The Glock slide is slightly smaller than the ermox. The rails on the ermox are also thicker than the Glock rails.

  • @Tacticaltaco-kc9be
    @Tacticaltaco-kc9be 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    When you replaced the connector was it easy to take off the housing? I'm waiting on mine and I'm wondering if I can put different glock triggers

    • @gillysguns9244
      @gillysguns9244  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching and commenting! I didn't remove the trigger bar or trigger to check compatibility with Glock parts, I only removed the disconnector and rear trigger housing. The housing is not standard Glock but was easy to remove. There is only one pin holding it in.
      The disconnector is standard with one small notch that has to be filed or ground into it. I think you could also file out the tab on the housing instead of filing the disconnector and that would allow the Glock disconnector to drop right in.
      The trigger pivot is threaded in and I did remove it. If other parts break I will continue trying to replace them with standard Glock parts and make a video on how to upgrade to these parts.
      I will put out a video in a couple more days with shooting impressions and more detail on the failure. I think I can make more sense of it in a video than trying to explain it in writing. Hope that helps.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. It weight just under 2 pounds with the red dot. I think it is 1.75 pounds without the dot. The slide has ports cut into the top corners. Looks like the barrel could be ported to align with these cuts but the factory barrel is not ported.

    Stop calling every gun that uses a Glock magazine a Glock copy, the gun has nothing to do with Glock in appearance. In fact, it is much better than Glock ergonomically, and it is half the price.

    • @gillysguns9244
      @gillysguns9244  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Thanks for watching and commenting.
      So appearance is what makes a copy? This gun's internals are Glock copies. In my book this is more important to determining a copy than appearance. Anyone can make the outside look differently but it still functions in every way like a Glock. Most people cover their glocks in tape, or stippling, anyway so externally it doesn't matter.
      The xfire is actually wider in the grip and heavier overall making the ergonomics worse than a Glock for most shooters. My example had an 8 pound trigger from the factory, nowhere near a stock commercial Glock.
      This gun has a long way to go to beat the Glock. I hope they make improvements that will make it better but for now it is nowhere close. If I were looking for my one and only handgun this would be on the bottom of my list, right above the highpoint. Spend the extra 200 bucks and buy a Glock, or buy a surplus Glock for cheaper than the xfire and have a reliable gun.
      If you missed it, my xfire failed on the 100th round. I had to replace the connector with a Glock part to make it function again... But I guess that doesn't make it a Glock copy.

    • @damonspinelli1352
      @damonspinelli1352 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Yeah but it’s compatible with g19 mags and like half the other Glock mods. So…. It’s entirely fair to make the comparison. It’s an all metal, cheaper Glock19 striker. This coming from a guy who doesn’t like or even own any glocks currently…. That being said this is gonna be my next cheap grab for sure. Need another all metal striker carry to compliment the modded out 365x. I’m a 1911/cz/baretta guy, but coming up on 5k rounds, the modular 365 is the first striker that I’ve seriously carried now. Wouldn’t say I’m a convert but I’m definitely not a hater of striker fired polymer platforms anymore.
      Provided I can upgrade them to be all metal 😅

      Glock actually just calls it the connector. It is the piece of the trigger group that transfers the pressure from the trigger to the sear. It also disconnects the trigger from the sear when the slide cycles rearwards. Then the trigger resets for the next shot. It is all done with the connector. It is a tiny part that controls the whole trigger.

    I don't trust the name brand or the specifics of this model in particular. The same company makes bad quality shotguns and this gun specifically has as of yet only been sold at classic firearms and now psa. Good luck getting spare parts and as for warranty work that would be a toss up. For the price though maybe it is a gamble worth taking for some.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I haven't tried any of their shotguns but this gun seems to be of decent quality. If the price comes down about $100 it would be an awesome deal. I wouldn't recommend anyone but the ermox as their only gun but it is a good range toy.

  • @heinrichstoltz1356

    I think the Glock comparisons are way too liberally and easily used. Copying internals and copying the operating principals of a Gen3 Glock 19 does not make it the original.
    It certainly is not a Gucci Glock by any stretch of the imagination.
    It is a Walmart level Turkish copy. You are being way too complimentary to a cheap knockoff.
    Gucci Glock takes a Glock and generally makes it more expensive and less reliable. Usually the owners are too shy to admit how unreliable their upgrades are.
    Getting back to the Ermox, it is cheap, it is from Türkiye, it is a copy, and it ain’t no Glock, neither are the magazines from Glock with a different baseplate.
    It may be a very good gun only after you have resolved the reliability issues, but I believe that you should “sell” the Ermox for what it really is, not what you wish it was.

    • @gillysguns9244
      @gillysguns9244  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I would put this on par with most of the unreliable Gucci glocks. The price doesn't really matter to me and neither does how it looks. I have some heavily modified glocks that are far less reliable than this Turkish gun.
      The fact is I am not trying to sell anyone a gun, or make anything look better than it really is. I just like shooting and want to document what I find so other people can make better decisions than I did.

    No, it is a Glock system copy, definitely NOT a Glock clone.
    That's a very poor and lazy description you provided.
    So yes, the actual "working" parts are Glockesque, but that's it.
    Glocks don't have metal frames.
    Glocks don't have full-length guide rails.
    Glocks have a wickedly different grip angle. These frames are more CZ75 than Glock.
    Glocks don't have interchangeable side panels.
    Glocks don't have fully supported chambers.
    Trigger angle is slightly different.
    Glock system? Yeah, mostly.
    Clone? Ah NO. That's far too much of a stretch.
    Spend some effort next time.

    • @gillysguns9244
      @gillysguns9244  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Actually the grip angle is the same as a Glock. The only difference is the frame material and a couple minor dimensions. It isn't a clone but it is far from a CZ. I'm not sure if you are trying to justify buying one because it's not a Glock or you are mad about calling it a clone of your favorite gun. Either way I put in far more effort into my review than anything you have done. You should probably put your money where your mouth is and just buy one.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. It has much more in common with the Glock 19 than the cz. Most of the internal parts are compatible with Glock parts. It definitely feels more like the cz in the hand though. I think it is wider in the grip than the Glock.
