You were very irresponsible in your reporting my friend; please do your research and clarify. SOME LOUIS VUITTON WALLETS WERE MADE IN FRANCE. I purchased mine directly from the store. I have all authentic receipts and paperwork.
Made in Spain doesn't mean that it is fake. LV makes products in France Spain USA and Germany
Yeah I was about to say I see all the designer stores that have LV wallets are made in France most of them anyways so that makes no sense why would a designer store sell fake ones right?

LV wallets are made in several countries, including Spain. Also, since November 2021 LV uses micro chips instead of codes.

I almost bought a possible fake coin purse on auction with eBay. Man, it sure was such a good replica of the real thing until I noticed the loose thread on the lower left side of the photo. It had all of the right design patterns, the correct sized Louis Vuitton letters,etc but everyone knows like Coach, the stitching is virtually resilient to wear and tear so I asked the seller if indeed that was loose thread in the photo and not the background in the photo and she confirmed that it was. Retract!!!

I almost was hoodwinked! I immediately notified seller upon getting it and inspecting it. It just seemed off, I’ve owned several bought directly from Louis Vuitton website, so I had something to compare to. Glue trails inside bill compartment and stitching wasn’t flush. Also the stamp didn’t verify. The seller was like do you want to return it? I’m like 100% yes!

AND there should be a disclaimer stating feeling the printing is relevant to the Coates canvas wallets and not necessarily for the leather wallets.

for people who buy on resale, make sure the verified photo that the idiots behind mercari actually do not put a "validated as authentic" badge by their "designer specialists," when the seller uploads a completely different model wallet that you cannot see and then bans your account from their terrible platform for complaining about their incompetency
I have a Louis Vuitton wallet that passes all of those tests. I'm pretty sure it's fake because I didn't pay more than..... I'm not going to say. But I would feel more ripped off if I paid $300 to $600 for a wallet.
They make them in Spain, France, Texas and more so that part was incorrect
Authentic LV items will never say “ Made in Texas “. Certain items like purses can say Made in USA. Most say made in France.

1. Says mine was made in France and the font is light red and cant feel it, so its fake?
2. The outer lining stitching is straight and same color, which supposed to mean its real
3. The card slots are easy to put cards in so that meant it could be real
4. The orange box looked good quality too
Theres only one reason this could be fake
