You made some great points, but there's a lot more to it.. we don't even know the true depths of shanks powers yet.. and if you include buggy, then that means mihawk and crocodile are part of the equation too. Luffy is still figuring out gear 5 as well. Emet is also part of the power of gear 5, which actually broke one of the tusk of warcury with a single punch
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Buddy!, We have a lot of power ups that we need to know and I believe Oda will share to us especially now that we are in the Final Saga. I think on what happening now on Egghead Island is just a glimpse of the Five Elders Power and it is not the time for Luffy to defeat them because there is more power that he needs to discover.
It makes sense for Luffy to use g5 on the five elders but I really don't understand why he used it on lucci. I hope we aren't seeing Luffy using gear 5 at every opportunity now.
Thanks for sharing your idea Buddy!, I think luffy will use his Gear 5 if he believes that the opponent is strong and powerful. Lucci has an awaken devil fruit so we can consider him as a threat to luffy.
I just don't want g5 to get memed to hell for luffy always using it at every inconvenience. Just like how megumi from jjk gets memed hard for always trying to summon mahoraga at every small inconvenience
