Let me underline one thing: Charmaine was 130% right about being afraid of Artie entering into business with Tony. She saw Armagnac coming from a mile away.
Actually, Artie was one of the few people Tony looked out for like a real friend. Artie even pulled a gun on Tony with no consequences, and even smashed Tony in the face with food.
@@VAHOSS the show is very explicit from the first episode showing that Tony will have no trouble ruining the life of even his "real friends" to solve business problems or make money. He had no problems taking advantage of David Scatino. He took advantage of Artie plenty of times as well, both directly (proposing to open a shy business through Artie, hiring Furio, never paying his tab) or indirectly (through Benny Fazio criminal mastermind). Tony was a hypocrite.
Armagnac never had the makings of a varsity liqueur. In the end, Artie found himself at the precipice of an enormous crossroads in his efforts to introduce Armagnac to the American market -- a moral stagmire, if you will, the likes of which neither chef nor interior decorator could reconcile. Specifically, the histamines irrigated any chance Artie ever had to make any real scarole because of their connection to a Central European tragedy where 60 Czechoslovakians got killed; it was a total deh-buckle. Rumor has it that Uncle Philly Leotardo easily could have helped Artie avoid this and other alterations from expiring with a-couple-a-tree words of advice but (unbeknownst to most people) he was doing 20 years in prison for his "family" at the time. If only Artie had been less allegorical in expectations of self and kept his eye on the tiger, then he never would have had this albacore around his neck, felt ostra-fied or been so prostate with grief. Truth be told, he would have been better off if he'd invested his money in the Captain Teebs luxury hotel chain and squirreled the rest away safely and smartly in an in-vitro trust. That's where the real life-changing money would have been; the kind with which Artie could have procured for himself a domicile comparable to de Something's Chateau that outshone Ver-sales. Sadly now, Artie just cooks meals for a two-fer menu in the Novo Vesuvio kitchen, keeping his antidotes to himself while periodically sipping on martinas. The actress who portrays Charmaine also portrayed Calogero's mom from A Bronx Tale. Her character in that film was open minded regarding accepting mob money and here on The Sopranos is another example of actors playing somewhat of an inversion of previous great performances.
The funniest thing about Artie is that 3 different times in the series he lusted after his young attractive hostesses while having a knockout of a wife at home. You hit the lottery and still want to fumble.
It's all about perspective. He's around guys banging anything that moves 24/7, no wonder he's thinking about other women. But remember when Tony offers him one of the bing girls? He refuses without even thinking about it.

Char basically told Carmela I could of had your life but it wasn't for me the reason she did that was because she made her feel like Charmaine was beneath her so Charmaine gave her a reality check good move lol
Nah Charmaine was so wack for that. She wasn't at that event as a friend, she was there as a contracted employee then gets upset that she's being given direction by her boss. Her ego was very frail. Carmela (while ignorant) wasn't going out of her way to degrade Charmaine. Tony sleeping with her once when they were young doesn't automatically mean he would have married her and she could have had Carmela's life. My ex said "I'd chop off her hand right then and there" with some serious venom while we were watching it together.
Charmaine loves it when you rub her muzzle.
The way Tony just walks up and says "Get the fuck outta here!" With no explanation cracks me up
I got so much respect for charmine..her moral grounds are high
The Prince of Rogaine will always accept a gift from a labor leader.
Charmaine: Queen of shade.
With all the frowning Silvio does, his cheek muscles could probably bend steel 😂
They gave the honest guy the Hottest wife
I swear if it wasnt for charmain bucco, Arthur would have ended up like dave scatino or worse
Kathrine Narducci is such a beautiful woman. Just absolutely stunning :)
“It wasn’t for me” killed Carmella’s whole life 😂😂😂
5:45 lmfao one of the funniest parts in the show
Charmaine basically tells Carm I could have had your life if I wanted it is priceless.
The actress who portrays Charmaine also portrayed Calogero's mom from A Bronx Tale. Her character in that film was open minded regarding accepting mob money and here on The Sopranos is another example of actors playing somewhat of an inversion of previous great performances.
I like the word you used, this _”inversion.”_
_”The sacred and the propane.”_
@@willia3r it’s very allegorical
And the adult Calogero was played by Lillo Brancato who payed Bevilaqua on the show until he was blown away by Tony and Big Pussy
There were more parts on this!!!
*You're only as good as your envelope!*
Everybody knows that Borko!
Charmaine's chest even gets more respect than Chrissy
She is so beautiful. Gorgeous complexion.
Carmela: Wise, principled, and still manages to deliver one of the most effective assassinations in the series lol
Kathryn Narducci is just a gorgeous woman
2:36 I call my dog over in a more respectful fashion
The funniest thing about Artie is that 3 different times in the series he lusted after his young attractive hostesses while having a knockout of a wife at home. You hit the lottery and still want to fumble.
Men are greedy they always More.
Simp
It's never enough"
It's all about perspective. He's around guys banging anything that moves 24/7, no wonder he's thinking about other women. But remember when Tony offers him one of the bing girls? He refuses without even thinking about it.
Carmela was shut the hell up. Speechless.
that last frame where sil starts chugging his drink made my day :D when I first watched the sopranos I didn't even realize how tremendously funny the show was; THANK YOU BORKO!
Loved Charmaine. Perhaps the only character in the whole show with an upright moral compass. She couldn't stand Tony and his crew and rightfully so.
But Her hands were still dirty She let Tony drop tht Mafioso TIP and She acts like buddah wldnt melt in Her mouth
Miserable bitch. But that T n' A!
She never compromised her shinebox.
Come on Arthuh, someone donated their kneecaps for those tickets!
Charmaine is stunning
Borko is a LABOR leader!
the no borko-jobs
We both made our borkos, I'm fine with mine.
It isn't even the last time Charmaine threw thinly veiled insults to make Carmela feel like shit. As much as she liked to sit on her moral high horse she was ultimately displaying insecurity.
Carmella staring at charmange from 4:20 - 4:25 lmfao she's like stuck in shocked mode lol
Katherine Narducci is so beautiful, and has the most gorgeous eyes!!
Carm is the biggest hypocrite on the. Her moral scale conveniently tips in the direction that suits her. She loves the wealth, yet pretends that she doesn't know who Tony is. Props to Charmaine.
Katherine Narducci is absolutely stunning
