It's so interesting to watch these edits all these yrs. later with older eyes.. i never truly recognized what a genuine and down to earth character she was. She ripped Artie apart a lot, but for good reason. She knew how it all could go really wrong when Artie was dreaming of neon dollar signs on one of his get-rich-quick kicks. She was always looking out for them both.
It would have been a debt that Arti and Charmaine would have to repay at some point, and knowing Tony, that debt would never be satisfied. Charmaine was smart to keep away from Tony like that. Tony and his crew are insidious.

@@fro_e Sometimes the script can change and it's likely cheaper to ADR the audio after filming than reshoot. Especially in this scene where you can't easily discern facial and lip movements. Having said that, it is quite abrupt :D
Katherine Narducci was such a natural beauty in A Bronx Tale and The Sopranos. Sadly, she got a lot of Botox and lip filler, that gave her an unnatural look. She would've been better off if she would've had nothing done, I'm sure of it. I hope women will soon realize that a little wrinkle here or there isn't a big problem. The women of the past who didn't have access to all this plastic surgery etc aged a lot more graceful compared to modern day celebrity women who can stop nipping and tucking.
Thank you!!!!!!!!! As a 40 yr old women feeling continously pushed aside by societie's emphasis and reverence for youth, you are a breath of fresh air!!!!
That's because she tried it, didn't like it, and ultimately knows Artie will most likely come home. Tony cheats on Carmela, and she is very likely to become a widow.
Charmaine Bucco -- there was an Italian. The strong, loud type, she did what she had to do. She faced down the Soprano gang when none of those other mob wives in town lift a finger to help her!
OMG!!! Thank you I was looking at her trying to figure out where I saw her!!! I could not place it, but you are right Bronx Tail she played the mother of C.
Charmaine Bucco was the only character in the Sopranos show that was completely sane and level headed everybody else was off their rocker one way or another.
The writers did a wonderful job showing the ebbs and flows of The Buccos relationship; and in the final scene, we see the long-term gains of having a life based on integrity outside of the criminal world. Tony & Carm's world falling apart, Meadow & AJ not being the very best they can become. While Artie & Charmaine's Family is fine, and their restaurant is so successful now that The New York Jets Head Coach is eating there. Very impressive writing.
Charmaine was beautiful, bold, smart, and honest - truly a cut above virtually everyone else on the show. A little annoying, but still… the fact that Artie fucked that up for himself says everything you need to know about him lol
Even watching the show the 1st time in H.S. she was always 100% An honest hardworking woman supporting her husband while setting an example.for her kids and not taking nonsense. A strong woman. If Artie wasnt always making questionable decision she wouldnt be on his 🍑 so much. Luckily Tony actually loved him/ felt [somewhat] guilty about his 1st restaurant. You could pull a gun on T and walk away.

YES. so satisfying to see the condescension falter now that their family dynamic has changed and the Buccos are arguably doing better then them. The insecurity that underlies Carmela & Tony's lack of intelligence come to the surface at the same time, and they each are trying so hard to keep up appearances despite the other. Amazing
Artie was such a good character, probably my favorite next to Bobby and Sil I used to love Chris and Tony but after re watching the show so many times I’ve come to like Artie the most. He’s a standup guy. Always got walked on but kept going on and striving, even fought back and would speak his mind freely, not disrespectful but concerning. True. Artie's fight to repo his money proves that point! 😂😂
@@seanswinton6242 He did get the better of Benny though . . .so technically he's 1W, 1L . .
This comment has been overused so much I think there should be a fine for attempting it any more.
Look at us Borko, look at how much your kids have grown up. They are all wise now, all wanting Charmaines instead of Adriannas. Whatever happened there. Beautiful.
wrong channel. lol.
Confusing the Serbian for ceerious? Frankly I'm depressed and ashamed.
She owned Carmela.
She had Carmela over her knee. 😊

She's genuinely one of my favorite characters in the show. It's a small part but she stands out so much from all the other wives so much.
She was always looking out for them both.
i love making these. i learn more as i go. its beautiful
@ceerious Agree. And thanks for your great work. Very much appreciated by so many, and deservedly so.
Imagine Artie and his wife would’ve took on those tickets!. Tony would’ve rubbed it in their face for EVERY season.!! I can’t imagine
he probably would of lol
@@ceeriousno, but he probably would HAVE
It would have been a debt that Arti and Charmaine would have to repay at some point, and knowing Tony, that debt would never be satisfied.
Charmaine was smart to keep away from Tony like that.
Tony and his crew are insidious.
I don’t know what your tawking about. Tony is just a labor leader. Those wa comp tickets!
Charmaine was very real and perfectly executed character
Artie was so lucky to have her. 😋
Charmaine is one of my favorite characters.
I’d listen to Charmaine every day of my life. She’s morally sound and strategic.
Facts. Anyone would yell if they were with someone as annoyingly naive/clueless as Artie
Gentlemen, fine yourself a woman like Charmaine and DONT act like Artie.
Shes a harpie..
@@rev.jimjones9100 why? because she didn't want Artie to work with criminals?

I love this point on in the scene. Super passive revenge for that piss ass hand gesture, and acting like she worked her ass off to get where she is.
Also 6:47 , that is the most egregious dubbing I've ever heard
That moment is honestly so bizarre. I dont know how that got released in that state.
@@fro_e Sometimes the script can change and it's likely cheaper to ADR the audio after filming than reshoot. Especially in this scene where you can't easily discern facial and lip movements. Having said that, it is quite abrupt :D
Is it worst than “I talked to Barzini” in Godfather?

"We both made our choices, i'm fine with mine"
DAMN that was a diss. Dont hand wave a self respecting woman!
"Always with the scenarios" Charmaine/Sylvio
"Somebody donated their kneecaps for those tickets." Charmaine kept Artie out of a lot of shit. Did nothing but look out for him. She was a real one.
is that all you subscribers talk about in here is Charmaine? Merry Christmas
She's a better cook than Artie in some ways
i loved that sequence of Arthur cooking the rabbit. It's always good to see a person finding themselves and being masters at their craft.
20:09 Very true about the restaurant business. A friend of mine’s family owned one before they finally closed it. They said something similar.
yep it's true
This woman was in A Bronx Tale, she must have been a vampire cause she hadn’t aged at all.
she was in the irishman too. alot of stuff. great actress
OMG!!! Thank you I was looking at her trying to figure out where I saw her!!! I could not place it, but you are right Bronx Tail she played the mother of C.
It's the power of quality Italian food and olive oil! Makes of great genes! 😂😂
@@seanswinton6242 It seems to check out. It's what I always hear, well more so Meditteranean food, but close enough.
Charmaine Bucco was the only character in the Sopranos show that was completely sane and level headed everybody else was off their rocker one way or another.
The sexiest woman on the show
I agree. All natural and will look great the longest.
The mob boss is Italy was
Charmaine has character.
She is a quality woman.
keep making sopranos content please your videos are great, been really wanting to rewatch the serie lately :D
I rewatch it like once a year if not twice too
Charmaine is the best kind of woman, beauty, brains, confidence.

"Somebody donated their kneecaps for those tickets." Great transition 0:59
The way she says “Arthur” is SO sexy
Tony is a labor leader!
AND a waste management consultant. What a well-rounded man.
I don’t think there’s a better example of somebody “marrying up” than Artie somehow marrying Charmaine.
Tony always had a soft spot for Artie. Even after Artie borrowed money for Tony and was scammed. He let Artie get away with so much.
yeah Tony loved to eat, maybe that's why
And, Tony sent Furio to collect the money from the French guy.
He also blew up his restaurant. I know why he did it, but still
Isn't she like everyone's dream Mom: pretty, strong, hard working, loved (and feared) by everyone? She played that role sooo well.
Charmaine the hottest on the show.
Her, Gloria Trillo, and Furio's boss are my top 3!!
Charmaine was the hottest wife, Gloria and Valentina were the hottest goomahs
@@seanswinton6242i respect your taste 👌, not a big fan of gloria myself but she's attractive

Charmaine Bucco was the best looking woman on the Sopranos, simply gorgeous!!❤❤❤❤
What a piece, T and A for eternity.
Char was my top underrated character, I loved when she stuck it to Carm
What I can't get over is how Charmaine bothers Artie bc she geniunely cares for him and their lives together
“I love the coziness”…. Shady way of saying your house is small
carmella was so lame
Artie is one lucky lucky lucky man! 💕
His wife is drop dead gorgeous, loyal, smart, strong, and a great cook.
Charmaine was beautiful, bold, smart, and honest - truly a cut above virtually everyone else on the show. A little annoying, but still… the fact that Artie fucked that up for himself says everything you need to know about him lol
I love Charmaine!! Plus she’s a stone cold fox😎
I agree. Her, Gloria Trillo, and Furio's mob boss are my top 3!
Popped me how often Artie would clearly offload whatever BS he had onto the mobsters since he knew they'd never pay him.
Finally a program with realistic female roles.
Carmela acting all high and mighty talking to Charmaine, only to be slapped back into reality. Beautiful take down.
Charmaine is FINE❤
Kathrine Narducci is great in Bronx tale,Chicago Overcoat ,witness to the mob etc,I fuckin love her...
irishman too right. i thought that was her too
Yes!! An awesome woman!!

23:50 the whole scene was just gold. you can feel how satisfying it was for artie and charmaine to corner tony and carmela like that
Corner? Explain. I dont see any gotcha moment or anything. Just two people talking to two other people. What did I miss specifically? Idr the context. Explain
Their kids are fuck ups cause their parents are fucked in the head? Something like that? @@supersaiyanzero386
YES. so satisfying to see the condescension falter now that their family dynamic has changed and the Buccos are arguably doing better then them. The insecurity that underlies Carmela & Tony's lack of intelligence come to the surface at the same time, and they each are trying so hard to keep up appearances despite the other. Amazing
I loved Charmaine. She took no shit and did things her way. She is fine as hell also
8 minutes of her voice was all i could take!
lmao
No 💩!
Artie really didn’t deserve Charmaine - she saved his life numerous times
loooooove me some Chrmaine. Her telling Carm about her and Tony is my fav scene with her.
I love Charmaine.....
Artie was such a good character, probably my favorite next to Bobby and Sil
I used to love Chris and Tony but after re watching the show so many times I’ve come to like Artie the most. He’s a standup guy. Always got walked on but kept going on and striving, even fought back and would speak his mind freely, not disrespectful but concerning. Even when he was mad with Benny he was never truly disrespectful just willing to stand his ground and show he’s no pushover.
Love the way she says "Artah"
