Deep dive? This is about as deep as Spaceballs. Downforce pushes the car down, it uses wind, got it. Come on Mercedes-AMG, GMA is making a video on practically every different development car they produce. Koenisgegg is sharing design and specs that are so deep they practically require a PHD to understand. It seems like a fitting title for this video would be something along the lines of: "AMG One, here's some pretty stuff".

In fact, none of the ICE cars that have tried Nurburging are faster than the AMG ONE, the AMG ONE still holds the fastest record for internal combustion engine cars.

No way an average person can afford a Mercedes AMG One. Just the maintenance cost is $859k a year. I guess an average person will get a 2024 Tesla Model S performance for $80K. Model S has almost less than $1K maintenance cost a year and can do 0 to 60 in 1.9 seconds at any time and at every time while being quiet and being accepted by the society. The best part is, that speed always stays constant for the entire life of that model S car. Which is around 300K to 500k miles.
And good old enzo said "aerodynamic is for people who cant make engins."

The only bad thing about this car as whole is the low liters of the V6 engine. Max the liters on that V6 engine and it will be perfect.
The main point of the car is being a F1 to the road. If FIA ever increase the literage of their engines we still woudn't get a car like this at least for the next decade or so if it ever happens, unless the F1 cars all the sudden start using a really easy to use platform, which is totally unrealistic. But i get your point, different from you i see a charm on a 1.6 6 cylinder vehicle being the fastest around the Nordschleife, on a world where 16 cylinder engines are a real thing.
@@tsr-gtr I understand you completely and i agree with you, but the problem is that the reliability of that engine is awful. If you didn't know mercedes will give you for free the next two or three engine replacement after you do 50.000 kilometers, because thats the lifespan of that 1.6 liter V6.
@@ThodorisManiatis1220 Yes, i am aware of that. But thats one thing to do with racing engines, Aston Martin Valkyrie suffers the same, race cars get their engines redone very oftern thats something usual on motorsport.

These record holding cars are garage babies, they don't work on the real world with these big engines, Koenigsegg, Hennessey etc usually have awful transmission and shit, low speed on these cars are like hell. The only company that managed to fix that is Bugatti, and what did it take.. A 2 ton car with freacking 16 cylinder to make it some sort of reliable.
