She really is one intelligent person. I can see a lot of similarities in how I should approach things in life like she learned to do. Keep doing what you are doing Felicia as long as it makes you happy.

it's more like she was "our secret". The mainstream world kinda caught onto the princess of geeks .. in the geek/nerd world she's literally a goddess

I'm surprised she got on here. And that Larry King knew who she was.

Felicia will always be one of my favourite people.
She streams on Twitch more now that she's quarantined and all that, I highly recommend. Her streams are hilarious. :)

Unlike most people who get interviewed, I actually believe her answers. Felicia is who she is, likes what she likes & tells it like it is.

I always love to hear Felicia's opinions and views on life.
    It makes me so happy.
Interesting when she says life is meaningless. That's quite nihilistic. I'm the opposite in that regards

For the "things you could bring to a deserted island" question "A kindle with internet service" has to be one of the worst answers I've ever heard.
1: If you can somehow magically have internet service in the middle of the ocean, why bring a kindle instead of a smart phone, which you could easily use to get rescued?
2: Magical internet service, but 2 days in the battery dies. Now what?
3: Since this kindle has internet service in the middle of the ocean you clearly have magic, which you could've used to have an unlimited amount of books, which you could burn after reading to keep yourself warm.
If there are no limitations in place, the obvious thing is a boat so you don't have to be stuck on a deserted island. (Or a plane if you know how to fly and you know the island will have a runway you can take off from) If the limitation is that you can only have things you can reasonably bring in a realistic scenario, I'd say the tools you'd need to build a shelter while you're there and eventually a makeshift raft.
As much as I love Felicia, this was not a good idea for something to bring to a desert island.

the purpose of the question is to find out what the person is so into that they "couldn't live without it". it's not a thought experiment to see who would survive best in a catastrophe. obviously we'd all try to call for help and get off the frikkin island. Felicia realised pretty quickly, too, that food and water are boring answers cause that's not the point of the question :D

    • @Fritz_Schlunder

2:32 Technically, the first three things she said after the question was asked, was "boy" (2:36), followed by "food and water". Only then did she go on to talk about a fourth thing, which was a Kindle with internet access.
It is of course possible that that is not what she meant, and that she would in fact prefer the company of a Kindle over that of another human (who may or may not be able to help her build a shelter, boat, and/or other useful artifacts relevant to helping her either attain comfort on the deserted island, and/or, to successfully return to what qualifies as "normal" society).
