I love the pure joy of Dee in her water element and all things of nature and it's beauty. I know they both love it as you can see it on Jay's face but I also see how he feels about Dee when she is in her full "zone" It's magical to watch.
Just love following Dee on her snorkeling forays! I wonder do the fish sense she is a soulmate? And Jay, your support of Dee and your narration is wonderful! I think the little fish friends are telling you to be sure and buy socks with fish prints on them! PS: Does this make you want to snorkel Australian waters and other waters afar???
How amazing that you could do ALL of THIS on the morning of embarkation day!! The snorkeling there is now added to my "bucket list"!! Jay, you have the best little quips and jokes - I got a chuckle from the poo poo sound effect! Thanks again!
Sometimes I audibly say “Jay!!” (Almost in a motherly-scolding type way 🤣) when you say something that cracks me up and is so random… and you saying there was a gang war going on between the fish definitely made me say it 🤣🤣
On my first vacation to Hawaii, my first stop driving around the island was the Halona Blowhole, I was definitely impressed with the beauty of the water and rocks and everything there. Such a great trip
When I went 20 years ago it was free with no limits. Also you only had to walk out waist deep and all the colorful fish would surround you. They said to feed them frozen peas from grocery store. It look like the reefs have receded and are further from shore now. A shame. I always described it like being inside an aquarium.
I was thinking the marker at the blowhole was a memorial to those who had drowned there (haven't been there since I was a kid). So I looked it up and found this: "The post near Halona Blowhole was erected by a Japanese club in the 1930s as a warning to fishermen and memorial to those who drowned at the spot, according to local author John Clark. The marker originally had the Japanese character for "abunai," meaning "danger," painted on the side."
This is amazing. I always loved Hawaii. I've been twice. Beautiful place. Thank you for sharing. The fish in bay were absolutely beautiful. You are so lucky to experience seeing them.
These fish are AMAZING! Dee, I’m so happy you got to experience this, especially since you love snorkeling and fish so much. I’m wondering if it was easier for you to swim through because the Pacific Ocean is less salty than the Atlantic Ocean, and therefore less dense.
Loving your videos. This is my bucket list vacation that I'll probably never get to do. Used to live on Oahu many years ago and still have pics taken on that very beach. So excited to watch. Thank you for such excellent footage!
Love the Oahu series! Made me homesick. I was born and raised on Oahu and fortunately I get to go home every year. Hanauma bay is beautiful and I'm glad you guys got to snorkel there. My daughter saw an octopus there. Also, Waiola shave ice is my favorite and I love Rainbow flavor. Can't wait to watch the POA series. I hope you guys go back soon because there is so much to see and do on Oahu. I've watched all your Alaska videos. We just got off Carnival Spirit. Looking forward to that series. I got Carnival Radiance, Mardi Gras, and Allure of the Seas booked and have binged watching your videos on those. For Mardi Gras we are going to Grand Turk, Puerto Rico, and Amber Cove. Is there anything that I can't miss/ must do at these ports? I'll also be watching your port videos. LOVE all your videos. Thank you!!
There was soft sand for getting in and out. And it's not really deep. I also don't put my feet down so I don't damage the coral unless I'm in sand only part. My feet are big and like built in flippers haha.
How deep are those coves? Me and my gf are going to Hawaii next week and we would love to snorkel but neither of us can swim. If those aren't any deeper than like 4 feet that would be amazing for us
They are extremely shallow. Nothing was deep at all really unless you went past the coves. It's hard to get into as you need a reservation to go there. But 2 days before at 7 am Hawaii time. They become available. Good luck it's amazing and totally worth it.
If you are terrified of the ocean Hawaii is absolutely not the ocean to go in. Most beautiful place but the currents, lava, topography there is just not safe for non swimmers.
@@kated2847 Thanks for the reply. Maybe snorkling isn't in the cards for us. We do have a sea scooter activity booked. Snorkling sounds like so much fun though
Yeah if that was a Carnival ship you hit a iceberg the party don't stop , it's just got started ? If you got lemons you make lemonade you got iceberg ice cream & a lot of cocktails ? Oh Yeah cocktails if taking intravenous afterwards you may say What's an iceberg ?
Unfortunately, there are idiot tourists (because as locals we know better) walk down to the actual blowhole 'for a closer look and experience- ignoring signs that say to not go beyond those signs). The last death must have been almost 10 years ago when a California male teenager was impressing a girl (cant remember if it was a friend or girlfriend who went with him) and kept playfully showing off to her... like he's right above the blowhole and in a sitting down position like he is on the toilet. A large gush of water shot up and he got pushed up and sucked straight down into the lava hole ! His body was not found immediately. Parents had the gall to sue the State of Hawaii for their son's stupidity.
Did you hear that a Norwegian Sun hit an iceberg an shorten cruise 100 % refund cancelled next few cruise ? Hey didn't you on a cruise hit a dock ? You could have gotten paid ? Get your money backed Paided ? That's a new one your cruise has been cancelled due to iceberg ?

I came to the comments to say the same thing. Seeing him support her mermaid dreams is so sweet and pure.
Loved this entire series! Very informative and entertaining. We are going on this cruise in June 2023 for our 50th anniversary! Can’t wait!
Happy 50th Anniversary!! 🎉

Some of the most beautiful fish I have seen in your videos yet. AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

The new shirt alone deserves a comment: nice 👍
Amazing underwater footage. Beautiful!
Loved this place !
The fish with the blues, greens, yellow was amazing. It didn't even look like both sides were the same colors!
Sometimes I audibly say “Jay!!” (Almost in a motherly-scolding type way 🤣) when you say something that cracks me up and is so random… and you saying there was a gang war going on between the fish definitely made me say it 🤣🤣
Wow on the snorkel video. Dee sees all the best fish.

Oh my goodness those fish was so beautiful I mean wow they were beautiful great filming and Dee and Jay colors and all so vibrant wow.
You did all the things in a short period of time. Good job
Beautiful fish
I've heard that the Bay isn't worth the hassle. This video disproves that. This is now on my must do list!

That's how I remembered it from 25 years ago
I love ❤️ you guys. Your videos are awesome! Thank you ☺️
Love the shirt!!
Waimea valley and waimea bay are a must on the northshore. Get the gypsy guide.
The GyPSy guide was awesome! We used it almost every day of our trip!! :D
We were just there earlier in the week! (And I drive a yellow jeep back home) 🙂

Just beautiful photos Dee of the fish!!!!
Amazing snorkeling footage Dee, I bet it was even more spectacular in person.
Good morning! Beautiful snorkeling place.
Next time go to makapoo beach! There are tent camping near the beach
Amazing fish shots. Beautiful
Would love to know where you bought your rash guard you wore in the video and also any swimwear recommendations? You have cute stuff! 😁
Old Navy!! :D
I have been to 2 of the 3 world blow holes, just need to one in Australia.
So amazing! Great video
My best snorkeling was in Hawaii. So many different kinds of fish.
This is amazing. I always loved Hawaii. I've been twice. Beautiful place. Thank you for sharing. The fish in bay were absolutely beautiful. You are so lucky to experience seeing them.
Just awesome footage. I loved the mama and baby 🐟 🐠. Loving this series
Good Morning, great snorkling & such beautiful fish! I know you loved it Dee!
Good morning
Hey the Carnival Magic a big brawl broke out @ a Nightclub Dance Floor ? Well yeah sometimes that's called Break Dancing ? Ok not really . . . .

You guys would love snorkeling at west bay beach in Roatan
That was absolutely awesome ❤❤. The fish the water everything. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see the next adventure. 😊
Amazing trip to Hanauma Bay. I’d say better than the Barrier Reef. Great job editing Jay. Hawaiian background music makes me miss Hawaii even more!
Amazing fish video and the water is so clear. Just love it!!! Thanks for sharing!
Yay!!!! Good morning!!!

Wow Dee your picture of fish was amazing. I could see you was so happy. Oh Jay your turn was awesome too.😂🤘🤙🥰🤟
Loving your shirts! Looking so in the groove! Enjoying the trip to my past!
Nice videos. Thanks for sharing. May I pls ask what camera is using to record her fish finds on her snorkeling adventures?

I have to go to get Shave Ice!! I love your swim top, Dee…what brand is it?
Thankee! It's an Old Navy find from a while back!! :D
@@parodeejay awesome!! Thank you so much!!
I don't think the fish was making friends.
He was looking to pick parasites off you to eat.😉
How does Dee talk while snorkeling?
I went to Hanauma Bay in the mid-80s. Didn't have to pay and nobody was there. It was a nice quiet place.
We did too in 1983!
Makes me want to watch Elvis in Blue Hawaii
They may have filmed some at that bay
It looks familiar
Close 45k subs ☺️
How was the water temperature?
It was slightly refreshing, oddly enough! Got used to it super fast, but definitely a little chill on the skin as you got in, ha ha!!
Question: How did you navigate in the water when snorkeling without swim shoes?
There was soft sand for getting in and out. And it's not really deep. I also don't put my feet down so I don't damage the coral unless I'm in sand only part. My feet are big and like built in flippers haha.
Hey Dee!
Would you post a link to your Tripped Bag?

RAINBOW FISH
Dee needs to try a full face mask maybe and we might understand her!lol Love the videos!!
She has in the past, but prefers the feel and performance of the two-piece set, ha ha... it's tough to understand snorkel-talk sometimes!! :P ~Jay
@@parodeejay Editing Jay always does a great job with closed captioning! Dee's muffled snorkel talk always gives me a good laugh.
I can’t believe you pay to go to Hanama Bay. It was free when I lived there. Went there almost every week. Elvis made a movie there

@@quinnhuynh that sounds like fun. You should learn to swim. I learned two years ago in my sixties.

It's not the shirt.its the guy wearing the shirt.

That's crazy! Yes, our ship hit some sort of mooring buoy in Sitka and messed up the dock for a few weeks, but we hear it's fixed now. Wow!!
