Centipede PCB Repair - Part 1 - Repairing a botched trackball repair and PCB evaluation.

Bought this Centipede PCB on Ebay. It had a very botched repair attempt of the trackball circuitry, took hours to correct. Started on repairing the PCB, and encountered a couple of chips that were getting very hot; had to replace those before analyzing the PCB. Discovered the CPU was in constant RESET (reset stuck active low). Repairing the reset circuitry got the PCB running; self-test reported RAM errors. This may turn out to be a fairly straight forward repair; we'll find out in part 2.

So pumped to see this getting repaired, this was my board on eBay! It came out of a machine that was in an arcade in the early 2000s, then was put away into storage after I can only assume some kid kicked in the front of the cabinet. Knew that trace repair was beyond me, glad to see this board getting some love!
