When Elvis walked into Sun studio it was his dream to be a ballad singer in the 1960s he achieved that goal recording so many beautiful love ballads Fame And Fortune another gem from the 60s awesome! reaction.

SEPH, This ELVIS song is so brilliant, it's worth hearing the "live" version as well. It's really a discovery, the voice sounding richer all the time. To me, already back in time memorial, he was predestined to become a legend. Another great reaction, Seph!

@@SephPlays Haha, a very long time ago. I was about 9 or 10 so 60+ years ago. When she got a new record player my cousin gave me some old 78rpm records, including several by Elvis. One of them was "One Night", which got broken. I stuck it together again so I could continue to listen despite the clicking sound it made where it had been repaired. 😀😀

Oh, I so totally, absolutely agree 1,000%
    🔥💣💥 all the way!
But can I just take a minute to appreciate your edited backgrounds to these Elvis reactions of yours, Seph?
I mean Elvis's voice is gold here. No disputing that.
However, what I really love is your sincere admiration for Elvis's vocal agility/ ability and your 100% honesty on every single song & performance you've reacted to thus far.
You're doing SUCH a fabulous job, Seph 🎤😍💖
    Bravo 👏👏👏👏🎩🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thank you so much for being so dedicated to what you initially set out to do here!
    You 🎶🎸🎶😉

I love over analysing these songs and im always living in the moment. But i honestly do get alot of hate comments about the way i react. I pause too much, i talk to much, i say negative things about songs.
These are comments i get daily 😢
Sometimes think im one of the least liked reactors on youtube 😅
But then i get lovely comments from you and it cheers me up and really helps me keep going Sammy the cool!
      For this i thank you!
And changing the subject completely. How are you today? Everything good in the world of Sammy? 😊

@@SephPlays In the world of Sammy 😂 Too funny!
Besides, the cold & rainy weather, everything's good for the most part 👍 Thanks for asking 😊 💖
As for the haters: "Those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."- Dr. Suess.
You just keep doing what you like doing, Seph, and always do it in the way that is true to yourself.
You're genuine and if some don't like you then that's their loss, not yours 😉
Keep going 💪, Seph! You're doing GREAT in my opinion 🔥💣💥👍💖

Hey Septh I wanted to say that growing up, we didn’t have access to all of the Elvis music at our fingertips. So when we got an album, we learned the songs, and songs grew on us play after play. We’d read the album sleeve looking at the song titles on maybe our next album . It was a process and a wonderful journey !

    Superb again Seph.
“Fame and Fortune” was the fourth song that Elvis recorded during his first post army recording session at RCA’s Studio B in Nashville on 20 March 1960. The song is of the type that Elvis had become fond of during his time in Germany on National Service, and which he would return to time and time again throughout the remainder of his career.
Ballads like this, with a powerful narrative and a strong vocal line, always seemed to bring the best out of Elvis and would result in some of his greatest performances both in the studio and on stage.
Elvis recorded seven songs at that historic session, but this was the only song which did not result in a single satisfactory master being achieved. After fifteen takes, the decision was taken to create the RCA master using a splice of the last two takes. The song would then be released as the flip side to the worldwide hit “Stuck On You” and would be Elvis’ first post army single.
Just six days after recording the song, Elvis would perform it at The Fontainbleau Hotel in Florida during the taping of “The Frank Sinatra Timex Show: Welcome Home Elvis”. The “A” side of the single would also be performed during the show and the TV Special aired on 12 May 1960 at 9.30pm on ABC.
