My non stroked 350 gets 530whp. Then again, its not as civilized as this. The d16y8 inside my 88 crx si pumps out 160hp at the flywheel. All i can say is, it's a lot more fun to drive that than my sub 11sec 92 camaro, even if it's slower. Its something about the crx that makes me want to keep it for another 30yrs.

And that 175 number was before I got the head port work done before I did the Ferrara flat face valves springs and retainers before I did the skunk2 intake manifold and 70 mm throttle body and when I was still running a stage 2 cam have not gone back and got it retuned yet been waiting for them to have an opening at the dino which won't be for another month the tuners here are speed factory in Washington state which holds one of the world records for the fastest front wheel drive Civic in the world you look it up their cars and EG hatch running 7 second quarter miles So they're definitely good at what they do after talking to the tuner with the work I've now added and now having the 4-in cold air intake which is basically a velocity stack at this point have an air duct where the fog light hole used to be and it sits right there instead of the cheap no name I had that was getting heat soak and also I now have it wrapped in gold tape the reflective kind that you see people use and also heat wrap the headers Air intake temps have dropped considerably and also when I got it tuned it was the dead of Summer and 90° weather no fan running in front of the dino other than like one or two months out of the year it stays a constant like 50°- 60° 70 at the absolute highest for pretty much the rest of the year so she's definitely going to be doing a lot better this time around on the dyno Should be around at least 200 I've seen somebody with a crazy stage 8 cam by rocket Motorsports putting down 200 and that's with absolutely no head Port work at all so with everything I've done and I'm going to be running e85 because when you're running that high compression on a single cam they can get knocking or pinging if you're not running the right fuel So all that combined 200 shouldn't be a problem Lastly back when this thing only had intake headers exhaust p29 high comp Pistons I was pulling on bolt on b series and k series all day granted a lot of that I think is driver skill and the fact I had damn good tires traction bar etc and could get out of the hole pretty damn good on people and it was reving to 8200 reliably for 6 years before I really started doing the rest of this build

😂😂i build a d15b2 block with a d16z6 head VTEC and is around 11 compression or 10.5 and i drop in a 272 Delta cam regrind and my sounds bad ass woow big difference build with junkyards parts and a tune p28 ECU my crx became a monster strong fast and the sound is beautiful like a muscle car in the gas station and light and stop sings and like a Ferrari in the highway beautiful sounds and the best combo for a d engine to have fun with 10 pound flywheel and gd clutch kit header and homemade Free flow exhaust system and gd Air filter man man gd investment for the d is something else the d15b2 wake up to something else with a junkyards combo

While I have in the past built a D16Z6, it was turbocharged because a very aggressive N/A is terrible on the street. Highest all output N/A D16 single cam I've ever seen made about 215-220 WHP. Mine was making 350 with nice torque, daily driver.
