I'm not exactly sure how their contracts work (as in if they get paid monthly or up front]), but all these extra appearances during the year are part of their job. They also teach workshops, work with charities, do parades, etc.
I'm so glad wokeness hasn't infected the Rockettes yet. Could you imagine the overly sensitive children of today's generation trying out? "OMG you want me to train for how long and do how many kicks?"
