Okay watching you measure, cut, and tip the spiral bones has taught me that one day I will need a full roll of spiral steel so that I may do the same. Basically you are goals.
I am new to your channel, I knew I was going to subscribe as soon as you starting ironing your fabric before cutting out you pattern. So many ladies skip basic steps like this.
It will be phenomenal. The intensity of the music was rising as you were cutting the boning. Had me on the edge of my seat. I look forward to seeing it in entirety next weekend.
Loved the intro to this vid! That purple is gorgeous too. Beautiful music choices as always! I had no idea there were so many sleeves on a bodice like this, wow! Can’t wait to see the closures and the finished project :)
Your stitching is exquisite, an excellent example for all seamstresses and on such a complicated bodice and sleeves. I'm so looking forward to seeing it all put together in the next couple of vlogs.
It is so beautiful on the inside, I will not stop thinking about the outside all week! (Currently taking-in most of my clothes as I lost so much weight over lockdown ☹️)
I'm confused as to how you did the sleeves. There was a cap sleeve, then the organza long sleeve, and then the short sleeve?? For some reason I thought the short sleeve would have gone over the ling sleeve. Sorry, I'm so confused.
Your hand stitching is divine. I find it very relaxing to see close ups of someone hand stitching
Oh dear🙈😂 now I’m gonna be super conscious about my hand stitching😂🙈
If your garment hasn't got six sleeves it might as well be sleeveless I always say 🤣 what a beautiful job you did on this 💜
Hahaha 😂 word!!
yes yes yes yes I can watch this precise delicate sewing for hours
The inside of the bodice is beautiful in its own right. Worth the wait for this video!
Awww thank you! Means alot☺️
I can't say how much I LOVED the basted bodice....so beautiful!

Would you consider doing tutorials for different hand stitches and when to use them? Yours always look so neat.
Aww thank you! I’ll put them on the video idea list!❤️

Your bodice is gorgeous! I can't wait to see the sleeves :) Do you have any videos discussing your typical budget for these types of gowns?
Thank you☺️ I don’t actually, cause I don’t really want to know how much they costs😂🙈
It looks very exciting! The sleeves are fabulous.
Thank you!☺️ can’t wait to wear it in two weeks!
Is there anything you cannot do?! Beautiful. I could never do sleeves like that.

I can't wait to see the finished bodice! Also, what is that underwire casing stuff for the boning called/ how do you source it?
Oh... I have no idea... I buy at at the wholesale dealer. But there is no name or brand on the packaging
@@Leeam darn. It looks so useful!

@@Leeam excellent! Thanks - I'll have to look for that.

Yes. It is a signature look for this decade to have a long see though or transparent sleeve over a short one. Your eyes do not deceive you😉
I am only a new subscriber, but what is that extra big ham, and where did you get it?
Well, what's the point of doing the period known for sartorial excess, if you're not gonna go the whole hog, right? Lol it's gonna be beautiful.
😂😂😂right?!
