YESSSS. This edge extent tool is exactly what I needed.
Had to clean up some antialiasing artifacts on the edges of a UV pass. Worked like a charm.

Thx a lot for this tuto. To avoid the weird nail you could mix this method with a despill. That way you wont have to extend that much and "distort" the footage.
