Great job and I've been doing the same for the floss, works great. Would like to see you in a light grey or white shirt, sometime I loose the fly if it's a dark fly. Fantastic fly on any river from Maine to Labordor. I ty a ton over the winter.
Awesome tie, just getting into tying myself , I'm literally starting from scratch, and ordering everything I need for this exact fly. Thanks for the video will be returning to this video for reference and a guide
Not bad for a little feller from Nova Scotia. From catching poachers to catching salmon you've done alright. Some great tips here and really like the fact you didn't edit the mishaps. Like Bob Ross always said..."There are no mistakes, just happy little accidents."
@@newfoundlandflyfisher Just finished watching your Orange Bomber 2.0 video...again great tips and I see areas where I can improve on my flies. Fabulous job...look forward to seeing and learning more.
Hopefully I'll be out Gander River way come August. Was booked for last year, but it was postponed. Looking forward to landing my first NL Atlantic salmon! Thanks for this classic video! Going to tie some with a white wing and some with moose mane.
Hey Chris! Awesome fly, and I've been trying to tie something similar but i cant seem to find the materials. may I ask where you get yours, specifically the golden pheasant crest! Thanks a million and keep it up!
Im not sure why i didn’t see this comment…I apologize for not responding. I typically buy Shor GPC. I pick theough the pile at local shops to find the best ones :)

@@NLwoodsman one of the most attractive aspects of tying for me is that I will be learning the craft until the day I die.
Warren Duncan called it a keeper! Keeps the floss butt from unraveling.
Awesome. Love the thread tip showing how you tie in slippery wing material. Gonna try it on the Margaree this year Chris.
It def makes it easier :)
