this is so good oh my goodness, it's limited to 3 lines, an extra line after to start the fight, it's p e r f e c t i o n (edit, 20h later: though the lines could do without the mega stuff, you could just say statue and ashes respectively. fake man is exempt, but it would be pretty cool to see each character being called out)

This is easily my favorite version of the boss theme from 9. Born again is also the actual name of the song. And I could imagine this one sounding very aggressive if it was given lyrics. I even have not heard this song in a Mario game style, even though I could imagine playing as Mario in the Mega Man style and hearing this theme playing at every fight. Because, ironically, this is my second favorite boss theme, if not possibly my favorite boss theme in the entirety of Mega Man as a whole.

True but also look at it like this. The first dlns were taken by force and we know got rebuilt in the end. With mm9s masters they were basically already dead and there was no guarantee that they would be rebuilt after mega man blew them up
