What a track ! I already listened to it 10 times ! The mix between chiptunes, rock lines, orchestral and choirs is perfect. I lespecially loved the enforcement of battery and bass lines (compared to the only orchestral version), and guitar lines and solos fashionly harmonized with other chords. Keep going, and BRAVO !
Absolutely epic! Your deft additions of timpani, church-bell, choir and soaring strings in key areas crank the epic level to 11! I just love how you started the piece with "what you were working with" and blended it into your vision. A lot of rock remixes lack a strong foundation, and you've certainly got it here and enhanced it. Strong base-line, steady-ass beat, thick orchestral sections. And then complimented by the new rock elements. Without a doubt, the best modern arrangement of this track I've found on TH-cam. That this piece has only 17k views is criminal.
in complete constructivity, what keeps this track from shining more is the trumpets being so punchy. I know it's a fast song but the trumpets need to wind down for a fraction of a second or they sound too artificial, just like the chiptune notes which are supposed to be one-and-done beats. They should still hit at the same rhythm but there's no "bleedover" i guess, is how i'd describe it as someone who doesn't know the actual term
