I got to see this man play in his prime. He was incredible! Fierce, afraid of nobody, a nightmare for an opponent. Nothing but respect for Sir Charles! Great player!

They say there will never be this type of player or that type of player. I'm almost sure there will never be a player like Charles Barkley. 6"4 250 +pounds at power forward and be as dominant or as great. Lead a team in the main stats all season and most wins in the nba. Win mvp without a doubt..sir Charles Barkley is was and will always be my favorite player all time 👑

I agree. Though he shouldn't of won MVP. MJ & HAKEEM had better years, plus theyre all defensive 1st team players. In the words of BILL SIMMONS BARKLEY couldnt guard ron kovic

His defense wasn’t tops but he wasn’t a slouch at this point. And if you’re going to mention D, rebounding is a part of that.

Weird how Barkley was the last of his kind. Before him or with him was Adrian Dantley, and Mark Aguirre.

That first year was very special. They still choked it away at the end. Up 98-94 with 2 1/2 minutes left and can't score a single point. 0-3 at home in the Finals. It had to have been painful.

Probably the single greatest season in Phoenix Suns franchise history. And Barkley himself had just come off helping the USA Olympic Basketball Dream Team take home the gold medal in Summer 1992.

A lot of people say; and even Charles said that Tim is the greatest PF of all time. I totally disagree. If Charles had Greg as his coach, he could’ve won multiple chips.

If u go look at when chuck was arrested in early 90svand look at the height chart behind him he’s damn near 6’7.. u can’t have much better proof or evidence of a guy standing in front of a height chart. Those things are extremely accurate

But Barkley as MVP in 92-93 was just like Malone as MVP in 96-97. Jordan and co. took out both teams in the NBA Finals. MJ showed the league and the fans. Just who truly was the NBA MVP both times he did not win that award. 👍

  • @alecsanderhamilton9224

6'3", 6'7", 6,4"... I smell bullshit. He was 6'5", 6'6". He was a guard body playing power post and point forward but damn we don't have to make him 6'3" to legitimize his greatness. Fuck, you didn't win Phoenix, Barkley didn't win it doesn't mean we have to accentuate his shortness at his position.

Neither does Dick Butkus, Randy Moss, Nolan Ryan or Randy Johnson but no one questions their all-time greatness over most players who did win it all.
