Forest patrolling is everyone's job!
Despite the criticism from her family and neighbors, Saen Siphon overcame the words that weighed her down and rose to become a deputy committee of O'Rey Community Protected Area in Rattanakiri. Watch the video below to learn how Saen Siphon set her mind to empower herself and other women in conservation.
USAID Morodok Baitang is supporting Saen Siphon and her community by facilitating collaboration with other stakeholders and supporting REDD+ Project development which will support economic development from deforestation mitigation and biodiversity protection in the near future.
