🌟 រួមគ្នាអបអរសាទរគុណតម្លៃរបស់ត្រពាំង ក្នុងទិវាតំបន់ដីសើមពិភពលោកឆ្នាំ ២០២៤!
ត្រពាំង គឺជាអាងទឹកធម្មជាតិដ៏សំខាន់ ដែលជួយពង្រឹងប្រព័ន្ធអេកូឡូស៊ី និងគុណភាពទឹក ផ្តល់ចំណី និងជម្រកដល់សត្វព្រៃ រក្សាទឹកនៅរដូវប្រាំង និងជាប្រភពផ្គត់ផ្គង់ទឹកដ៏សំខាន់សម្រាប់មនុស្សនិងសត្វព្រៃ។ នៅក្នុងដែនជម្រកសត្វព្រៃសៀមប៉ាង ខេត្តស្ទឹងត្រែង មានត្រពាំងទឹកធម្មជាតិជាង ២០០ កន្លែង ដែលមានសារៈសំខាន់យ៉ាងខ្លាំងសម្រាប់ជីវិតសត្វព្រៃ ជាពិសេសប្រភេទសត្វជិតផុតពូជដូចជា សត្វត្រយ៉ងយក្ស សត្វត្រយងចង្កុំកស សត្វរមាំង និងសត្វព្រៃសំខាន់ៗផ្សេងទៀត។ ប៉ុន្តែ ត្រពាំងធម្មជាតិទាំងនេះកំពុងរងការរីងស្ងួត និងបាត់បង់ដោយសារការប្រែប្រួលអាកាសធាតុ ការបាត់បង់ពពួកសត្វព្រៃដែលចូលចិត្តត្រាំទឹកទន្ទ្រានភក់ ការឈ្លានពានរបស់មនុស្ស និងការកាប់បំផ្លាញព្រៃឈើជាដើម។
ក្រោមការសហការជាមួយ Rising Phoenix USAID មរតកបៃតង បានធ្វើការស្ដារត្រពាំងចំនួន ៨ កន្លែង ដើម្បីស្តុកទឹកសម្រាប់សត្វព្រៃ និងប្រជាជនដែលរស់នៅក្នុងដែនជម្រកសត្វព្រៃសៀមប៉ាងកាលពីឆ្នាំមុន ហើយយើងមានគម្រោងស្តារត្រពាំងចំនួន ៨ បន្ថែមទៀតនៅឆ្នាំនេះ។ គំនិតផ្តួចផ្តើមនេះ នឹងជួយគាំទ្រដល់ជីវភាពរស់នៅរបស់សហគមន៍ និងសត្វព្រៃ ដែលត្រូវការទឹកសម្រាប់ផ្គត់ផ្គង់ជីវិតរបស់ពួកគេនៅទីនោះ។ សហគមន៍ក៏អាចទទួលបានភាពជាម្ចាស់ការក្នុងគម្រោងស្តារត្រពាំង និងបានរៀនពីវិធីថែរក្សាត្រពាំងទាំងនេះប្រកបដោយនិរន្តរភាពឱ្យបានយូរអង្វែងបន្តទៅមុខទៀតផងដែរ។

🌟 Celebrating the Values of Trapeangs on World Wetlands Day 2024!
Trapeang, a natural wetland, enhances the ecosystem by improving water quality, providing wildlife habitat, maintaining dry season water flow, and serving as a crucial water source for humans and wildlife. Over 200 natural trapeangs located in the Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary in Stung Treng Province are vital for endangered species like the Giant Ibis, White-shouldered Ibis, and Eld’s Deer. These ponds are being threatened due to climate change, human encroachment, and deforestation.
In collaboration with Rising Phoenix, USAID Morodok Baitang has restored 8 trapeangs at the Siem Pang Wildlife Sanctuary last year, with plans to restore 8 more this year. Through initiative, we support the livelihoods of local communities that gain merits from the pools' environmental benefits. Local communities were also able to take ownership in the restoration efforts and learned to sustainably manage these trapeangs in the long run.
