    Excellent, excellent video!! Thanks for your straight forward instruction without the Hollywood musical production intro bs! Also, a calm, well illustrated, easy to understand voice and awesome clear video! I won't attempt this repair myself, but I feel I am well armed to discuss the issue with my mechanic! Great work!!

    This was a great help. I used a 8 pound hammer and beat the top ball joint flush and then pb blasted it. Then i used a large flat punch to beat it out the rest of the way then I followed the rest of the videos instructions

    I watched the video, love it shows easy and not easy. Also in the beginning showing your garage. That was pretty crafty and they probably tell you not to advertise. I keep posting videos We love them.

    Well done. One recommendation, put the spindle nut on to protect the threads when pressing the ball joints out and in.

    Excellent video good job I only have one question I can’t figure out how to put that sleeve back in for the upper ball joint I don’t see how it lines up there’s no lineup for me and the whole is on an angle so obviously it has to do with a wheel alignment could you clarify that for me please I can’t even get my upper ball joint out it is seized I almost broke the compression tool so I threw some penetrating oil on it overnight I guess I’m just gonna have to use a sledgehammer on it the pin is solid as a rock on top maybe I shouldn’t remove it the bottom one is no good. Suggestions thank you stay safe

    • @BIGWILLSCARCARE
      @BIGWILLSCARCARE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Peter Laurance Armenio the sleeve should have a notch or lip that lines up with the opening on the spindle. If not, you can compare it with the other side just remove the wheel and see how it's set up. Hope that helped. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already

      You can also apply some heat to try and remove the upper ball joint

    If your watching this and looking for a 28mm in stores. it will be really hard to find, I found a trailer hitch ball wrench that is 1 1/5 and 1 1/8th at home depot. works perfect. $15 while a 28mm open end is $30 at napa

    Wow, I have to replace all four ball joints and all the bushings on my Ford E250 1995 van and did not realize how much work is needed to replace them. The only question I have is how do the ball joint help with steering and alignment? My van pulls to the right and it ate 1/2 of my brand new tires! Its constantly swerving left and right and having to hold the steering wheel straight is not fun.

    • @BIGWILLSCARCARE
      @BIGWILLSCARCARE  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Headbanger Ministeries pulling left to right is usually ball joint or tie rod end. Thanks for watching please Like and Subscribe if you haven't already

    Man I have gone from ONLY replacing the sway bar bushings that are in the axle on my Ford E-250 06' 4.6L to finding myself wanting to replace the tie rod bushings and ball joints but am scared to proceed any further. Lol Hopefully I can pull this off....it looks to be a pretty extensive job. Might be biting off more than I can chew here. 🤔

      @@BIGWILLSCARCARE I have subscribed. Also "liked " You're right it wasn't that bad. That brake light switch on the brake pedal can be tricky getting back on. It took me literally 30 minutes or so to get that thing on there. You know when it's correct too. It like pops on perfectly with enough room on the rod for the white washer and cotter pin. Which wasn't the problem so I don't have brake lights on this company van. Ford E250 06. 4.6. Not sure about the name its either a romeo or a Windsor if not mistaken. Where would you look next for no brake lights? I checked the bulbs I have tail lights just no brake lights when you press the brake pedal. You can cheat during the day by pulling the light out lol but not at night and that could be very dangerous and cause somebody to run all up on my tail end. Not to mention any cop will pull someone over for no brake lights. I checked the hazzard lights by jiggling them on and off. Maybe a bad harness?
