I can't believe how incredible this man was - so well versed and incredibly knowledgeable about SO many things yet unpretentious! I wish he was still around - everyone does. I'm So sorry to his close friends and his family. He was one of the greats!
I spent a week in Budapest and I couldn't recommend it enough! It's cheaper then the western Europe cities and has a nice feel of like East and west Europe! Just a fucking great city
@@higgsboson9509 I would recommend to visit the 8.District - lots of history, very mixed population, used to be infamous for the past 50 or so decades but it's rapidly changing... not touristy at all, I used to take foreign friends there all the time.
@@sertyuhg Ah come on haha I know Hungary is getting a bad rap (mainly because of what their govern ment is doing) but when I was there it the people were fantastic.
Ditto. I've actually avoided watching his stuff for a while 'cus it saddens me so much to know that he's gone. I highly recommend his fiction if you like his narration. I have every book and they're wonderful reads. Gone Bamboo is great!
Oh architecture & cinematography....old school developing was so kool. *Light can not be let in during processing otherwise photos are ruined. Pottery is also neat. Anywho, Learned something new I didn't know Anthony liked architecture & cinematography. Eclectic Chef 🙇♀️

It's on my bucket list of places to visit!! Is there anywhere in particular you'd recommend someone should go? (That isn't "touristy.")

Agreed...A beautiful city and country to wander... just watch out for pick-pockets and shady cab drivers...
