Dragonborn from Skyrim or Lonesome Road from New Vegas. One is a great callback to Morrowind and the other is a fantastic conclusion to a well-written story.

      @PassiveDreamer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

@@WretchedRedoran you can choose to either bring detlaff syanna by rescuing her from land of a thousand fables or force detlaff to appear by seeking the unseen elder, the most ancient and dangerous of higher vampires and trying to get him to help you in an otherworldly underground vampire cave/nest. Both are mutually exclusive and give new areas to explore and loot to pick up and characters to meet (LoaTF has much more compared to 1 unseen elder, a dead mage and a bunch of lower vampires) but both have their own charm.

    • @PassiveDreamer
      @PassiveDreamer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Also with either choice you can still visit Orianna's orphanage and do her quest and still change your mind later so its worth doing for extra content and also as a link to the "night to remember" trailer that came out before the game was released.

One of my favourite games of all time I've done three playthroughs total of 500 + hours and I still find time to play it at least once a week I currently upgraded my PC so revisiting the game in 4k is truly breathtaking I find myself just getting lost in the worlds clearing up the map of side quest and question mark Icons never gets boring or repetitive i truly get immersed in this world unlike any other video game has done to me can't wait for cyberpunk 2077.

Such amazing memories watching this video brings back. Just seeing the colourful beauty of Tuissant brought a joyous smile to my face and a warm feeling in my heart. The music alone gives me goosebumps. 415 hours i sank into all the Witcher 3 content and I thought I was done but seeing this footage just makes me want to experience everything again on a 2nd playthrough of New Game +. 3 playthroughs isn't something i've done before but W3 is so damn good i'm really considering doing it. The best game ever made in my mind I adore nearly everything about it just the combat could have been better but it's still a masterpiece. Loved RDR2 but W3 just can't be beaten.

Not only is The Witcher 3 the best game ever made, Blood and Wine is the best expansion ever made. Hearts of Stone might have a better story, but you have to factor in it's much shorter length makes that an easy accomplishment. 25 hours into my second replay and I can't wait to get thru the expansions again. A little under 200 hours to go, based on my last playthrough.

Blood and Wines ending......was like a goodbye to Geralt. If there would be another one, Geralt wouldn't be in our control or around at all.....it's a feeling that I haven't felt since....since Final Fantasy X and Halo 3.

I've replayed TW3 during these months of quarantine after having beat it 3 times already in the past since launch and not touching it for a long time.
I was truely amazed by how enjoyable the whole experience was, almost like i played it the first time. Although i decided to rush parts of the content a bit, namely to get to Blood and Wine.
I wanted to experience Beauclair, i needed it. And i wasn't disappointed one bit.
The vistas, the colors, the warm sunlight and the cheery people living in it. It was honestly the perfect escapism i needed to escape the doom and gloom of being locked inside of my house while the season turned sunny here in Italy aswell. I could basically quote everything you said in your video, to a t. I've delved far deeper than i ever did in this expansion and i was shocked by how much content i had yet to encounter.
Anyway, AMAZING video, Tone.. i said this in your cooking videos already, but ii'm really loving where this channel is going and i truely hope you see your subscriber base shoot for the stars soon, you fucking deserve it!

For me it's an easy answer because I've never played a better expansion for a game since brood war from StarCraft. I mean this could be easily a new 60 dollar game for Activision, EA, or Ubisoft but they charge $20. I actually prefer Blood and Wine story over Hearts of Stone purely because there isn't clear cut villain but rather a web of intrigue and hurt where lack of compassion is a reason for majority of bad things happening, which ties beautifully into the setting and knightly valors. Even if twist is predictable, it's such a tight, cleanly told and sad story, I love it. Plus, it has Regis. Regis is the best.

Skyrim was better for just going off and exploring, while Witcher has the far superior story, characters, side quests. They do different things, but for me, Witcher 3 is one of, if not the greatest game of all time.

Some of the best DLC's I've ever played this decade are:
    - Lair of the Shadow Broker (ME2)
    - Citadel (ME3)
    - The Old Hunters (Bloodborne)
    - Ringed City (Dark Souls 3)
    - The Frozen Wilds (Zero Dawn)
    - Blood & Wine (Witcher 3)
    - Left Behind (Last of Us)

I've finished the game and DLCs 2X but I've started playing many more times. Inevitably, halfway through B&W I start becoming depressed, I start missing all of my friends in WH, HoS, and B&W and I start a new game from the beginning (I dislike NG+). I always save my B&W game, but I can't bring myself to finish it.
I know it's silly. I know I can always start over when I finish it. But I find myself heartbroken, truly heartbroken, when Geralt and Regis say they've earned some time off.

Agreed on all fronts. I remember buying Witcher 3 shortly after it released as a show piece for my gaming rig at the time, but struggling to get into the game then. With the recent next-gen update, I gave it another chance. Within a couple weeks, I had made my way through the game and started my second play through. I’ve got my second play through on my updated rig with the Complete Edition, while I challenged myself to mod the 1.31 version on my Steam Deck for separate, Classic play through. Apparently I’m a Witcher incel, ha!

i played B&W through Christmas, best gift ever i can tell, could not describe the magic but it was like "something's gotten hold of my hand
which was dragging my soul to a beautiful land,
something had invaded my mind and was
painting my sleep with a colour so bright, changing the grey and changing the blue..." damn The Witcher changed my mindset for sure:D:D #more than a game
    stay safe!

When the DLC is better than the main game... I'm rushing through Wild Hunt NG+ only to finally reach Toussaint again. I already booked myself into a psychiatric ward in order to cure my second post Witcher depression.

Bought the whole lot for Nintendo Switch. While it was a little sluggish compared to my insane PC, it was nice to be able to sit down and play through it again on my couch, or wherever. Gameplay in this game is amazing and the replay value is astounding. Just knowing if you do things differently in certain key quests you could end up dead and having Ciri as Queen of Nilfgaard... (or dead)

I Will Never forget the game itself.
Wild Hunt gave us tons of fantasticaly written quests, tons of content, fantastic World, and was the most emotional from the 3, and much more what makes it So great.
Hearts of Stone gave us the briliant story and Writing (the Best out of 3) with fantastic characters and depth.
And Blood and Wine gave us New game mechanics, beautiful and unique New region, tons of New great quests, great climatic setting and being the great end to Geralt's Journey.

All of the Heart of Stone missions actually took place in Redania, not northern Temeria. Everything north of Oxenfurt is Redania

A nice point to anyone out there who already owns TW3 on console: the game is free on PC via GOG (CDPR's game site) if you own the game elsewhere. Go pick it up on GOG now!

If I would have one wish. I would wish myself a Witcher game with the story of all 3 Games. More open Maps. More characters more quests more Monsters.
The Witcher 3 is (in my opinion) the greatest game ever. And I only want more

I consider B&W nearly its own game. Kinda like Witcher 3.5. I wish some of the things presented in B&W would have been in the main game like the mutations and Corvo Bianco

At first I never understood why people would say, "After Witcher 3 I cant play any other game, all other games are lame now." I thought people were exaggerating but boy was I wrong.

Across the main game, you can never have no quest equipped. There is always a quest to do. If main quests are done, it's the side quests. But the end of Blood and Wine is THE end. No quests are highlighted after you rest at your home, Corvo Bianco. The definitive end.

hearts of stone - polish story well layd out. About guy named Twardowski who cheated the devil. Probaly beacuse its close to my culture. Different names same story. But to be honest there is one other game that reach that bar that Witcher 3 set. RDR2. hoping that there will be more games when every side quest is a meaningfull story and not just a - go there kill that bring it back.
Twardowski story used by another company in a short comertial

I like how people say Detlaff is killing everything in sight. No he wasn't stop exaggerating. Detlaff didn't kill aside from his listed targets. Only when he found out Syanna had lied to and manipulated him did he truly get pushed over the edge. I don't mean to defend Detlaff but I'm sick and tired of people defending Syanna when she was the damn cause of it.

No matter how many times you want to discuss things or different parts of and about this game,I'll always watch it cuz the witcher 3 is one of the best game made. Everything about it is perfect.
I usually don't buy dlc but for this game I did and got the best experience ever. No exaggeration was done hahaha
