I found these tips helpful, thanks guys! One thing I’ll say also is check your cable length, I’m 195cm tall (6’5) having had multiple ropes over the past 8 years I’ve found RX ropes are much shorter than others. I use a shorter rope with my Double unders which I can do 150+ unbroken, that premium RX rope is my favourite (expensive as hell but great). Now that I’m learning crossovers can only do 5 unbroken on the same length rope. I purchased RX’s frevo rope and went down the hardware shop and bought a longer rope. Only needed it a bit longer and it’s helped a lot. As I get better I’ll slowly decrease the length and drop down in cable thickness until I can use my bare cable rope. Thanks again crew!
Yes! Our cables are shorter than others, but that’s because we apply some ‘rules’ to cable length rather than the user sizing it themselves; usually too long, which leads to wide arms. Going to a cable that’s the correct length makes it feel short, where they’ve been using the wrong cable length. For crossovers, we recommend adding up to 4” to your usual cable length and work shorter as you improve. Glad the tips helped. All the best 👊🏼
