This channel is just brilliant, I've been watching for a while now, but it's the first time I've felt compelled to comment. Keep going Pal, it's great work you are doing.
I’m nowhere near down to 15 but since I started watching the channel I’ve still shaved 8 shots of my handicap by realising I can still put a decent score together by playing to my limitations distance wise and focusing on course management and hitting fairways and greens instead of trying to hit bombs and go for the hero shot and keep up with my friends that are single figure or plus handicappers, quality to see how you’ve improved video after video keep grinding!
Keep it going! Keep making those correct decisions and you'll keep coming down and remember when you're having a bad day it's a good way to test yourself to get a half decent score. So when you are on your B game you'll have a lot more confidence to get a score.

It's still snowing here in the Northeast USA. One day it will warm up enough to get out onto the golf course. Until then I am golfing vicariously through you. Another fantastic round on a beautiful course. The views are wonderful. One of the biggest reasons why I golf is for the scenery. It calms me like nothing else can.
That lip out on 12 was tough! I actually yelled like I was watching you putt for a championship! This course looks really fun, but I would probably shoot 735. ;-)
Great round James. Played really well mate,especially the huge put you put in, and the birdie on the par 5. lovely coarse. well done again James really good golf.
Guessing would of been your best round eve without that 9? Great round James. Lots happening on that course with stray buggies and lorries haha! Inspiring me also, had my best round today of 96!

Wow James what a beautiful looking course! I will be adding this one to this year's list of courses to play! A good round overall (let's not mention the blow up hole) especially as a lot of the greens were blind shots and you also putted well. Shots were carrying further which the warmer weather will bring. Hi James, I really enjoy your channel and was really excited when I saw you were playing at Porthmadog. I went there on holidays with my family 3 years ago and played the course with my son. The club house's restaurant is very good and Mark the pro at the golf shop is a really nice guy. By the way he confirmed your impression that it's a course you really want to play again. There are many blind tee shots or hidden ditches so the more you play it, the more you can improve your strategy and course management. Thank you so much for your video which brought back a lot of good memories.

This isn’t to poo poo others vlogging their golf… but the few others I’ve tried watching just don’t keep me as engaged and wanting to come back like yours! It’s just a perfect blend of honest golf, great shot tracers, great info displayed in the top right, great courses played and great commentary. Keep up the great work!

That 40 footer was ridiculous...if you check the pin it has a dent in it 🤣🤣 Cracking back 9, lovely looking holes and very interesting. One for the bucket list Well played today James, some proper golf holes there and you handled them well.

I had to pinch myself a couple of times on the back 9. On the 13th tee box you could hardly see the green which was perplexing! @@notaperfectgolfer3489 First time I played it was way back in 93 when I left school. Me and my dad had a week at the caravan site a but further up, played it most days. Love the place, been up a few few times with the family. Portmadog is a great place even if you don't play golf... especially the train ride into the valleys.
I have been lucky enough to play Porthmadog a few times,it really is a delight and definitely a game of two halves,the gentle nature of the parkland front nine does not prepare you for the visual strain of the back nine! The 12th is stunning,the 13th confuses (where do you hit it?),14th blind and narrow,it's a tremendous course and it was a pleasure to watch you plot your way round,I'll look forward to your return visit!
The course was better than I expected on both 9s. I read some reviews online and they were slating the front 9 but it played perfectly fine and was great with the 3 par 5's. Thanks for watching :-)
Very impressed with the footwork over the ditch on the first hole, what other sports have you played as a younker? Also had some good days drives on this one, keep up the hard work, it seems to be paying off.

A tough course with a lot of blind and semi blind shots, probably easier if you’ve played it a few times. Not my favourite course but I did ace the 13th so that particular hole is a favourite. 😀

Port is a great course! Always in good condition. If you haven’t already, try Penmaenmawr. Amazing views over to Anglesey and a great little 9 hole course
I played Pen last week but didn't film as it was all temp greens on the day. Hope to get back there at some point in the future. Some of the uphill par 4s there are monsters! haha :-)

Your swing looks v good - loads of people would be happy with your all round game. Watching your swing - I was wondering if you pull your left hand through for extra power. It is never easy to know what happens when you look at someone's golf swing.
Good round, especially with the greens being hollow tyned! You dropped 10 shots in 4 holes, play it again and you'll be down to single figures. Thank's for the vid.

I played Porthmadog GC twice on my first trip to the UK. I enjoyed this course and the spectacular views. I would like to play this course again.

Your swing looks v good - loads of people would be happy with your all round game. Watching your swing - I was wondering if you pull your left hand through for extra power. It is never easy to know what happens when you look at someone's golf swing.
