No it doesn't. To use FFmpeg with Audacity you have to download a binary distribution of FFmpeg according to the OS you are using (Windows, macOS or Linux).
thank you Sir

Have you tried the Audacity forum? forum.audacityteam.org
Much appreciated. Thank you.
You're welcome
Pretty major fixes!
Yep
The volume bar is gone and now I can't hear anything that I'm recording. :(
It's not gone. The volume sliders have been added to the meter toolbars. You'll see the sliders inside those.
Hi…where did the time shift tool go?
It's gone. To move a section of audio just grab the audio at the top of the track and move it where you want it to go.
I’m still trying to understand the difference between vst vst2 and vst3
A big difference is in memory and CPU usage. Plus, VST3 GUIs can usually be resized to fir your screen better.
@@LearnAudacity thank you for the info. So should we always use vst 3 whenever we can?
How do I know if the FFMpeg has be activated in audacity 3.2.2
It will give you an error on startup if it's missing
What about windows
Does the new Audacity require you to give them personal info before you can upgrade?
@Lis Vange thanks, I'm still using 2.4.2 because I was afraid to change. It works so well, I'm afraid I'll mess it up! I appreciate the answer.
No, it doesn't
@Lis Vange Thank you, I guess I'll put my poor 2.4.2. to pasture and get the new one. I appreciate the help!
@@LearnAudacity Thank you, I"ll do it!
does audacity automatically include the ffmpeg in version 3.2.2
No it doesn't. To use FFmpeg with Audacity you have to download a binary distribution of FFmpeg according to the OS you are using (Windows, macOS or Linux).
It auto installs it. At least it did on my Mac
