What a great way to keep a napkin from birthday parties and tuck party favors in them to place in scrapbooks.
I have two boxes of washi tape, and omg, i can't even tell you how many napkins...guessing about 50 packs. no i'm not exaggerating!!! Crazy. I have also made a promise to STOP buying stuff.... and use what I have. Add to this, I have collected lots of lace, seam binding, bits of materials, doilies, etc.... ever since I discovered JJ and papercrafting about two years ago, I kind of lost my mind (or saved it!, LOL).... Thank you for your joyful channel! You are my favourite person to watch!!! Unique ideas and your style is so reassuring, because you have so much fun, and you show us you don't have to be perfect. It's the whole joy of papercrafting to me....playing!!!

Another great idea - using up envelopes, napkins and washi tape. Text pages, too. Yep, I can finally make inroads on my ever-rising stash.
You would think as many of these junk mail and book page videos as I have watched that so would be tired of watching them. BUT NOOOOOO !! Loving this video session. I’m laying in bed, it’s 12:26 AM and laughing out loud. I love the things you do. Saving things from the landfills and creating useful and artistic things. These would be great for coupons, journaling or tucking a gift card in for a friend.

A few years ago I was in an napkin exchange. We sent 12 different napkins to 12 people and so then you got all those napkins in the mail. So much fun

Learnt two new things. Loving the glue book idea, just turn that page to avoid the glue and snip the washie to fold the edges. Wow.so simple but blowing my mind. Ha ha.

I use an envelope, unadorned, covered with packing tape for strength, to put store coupons in it, in my purse. Now I need to make an adorned one! I may still laminate it or cover with packing tape.

Pretty envelopes.
I was thinking you could have some envelopes made up 1/2 the size of the one you made. Put in words of encouragement or verses from the Bible inside and you could add to a journal or give to someone you come across in need of encouragement.

Okay I’ve got to make these. I use plastic envelopes to sort my paper scraps and small ephemera for my art journalling. These would be so much prettier and more fun! TFS
Great ideas. We save the layers of napkins to use at the table. :) And baby wipes for clean up. Baby wipes can be washed and used over and over again too. Just wash, dry and re-wet when needed used in art projects.

I love your 'tape trick'...So many of my mailings come with a returnable envelope so those are the ones I have been saving...and so this week I will begin!! I love your spirit and encouragement...thank you again!!
I love this! I made several pouches using my favorite cocktail napkins. I used pretty magazine pictures for the inserts then I put washi tape all around the edges for added reinforcement and to cover the raw edges. I sealed the outer napkin surfaces with modge podge for some extra protection. It gave the pouch a nice texture. I plan to use some of the pouches to hold grocery coupons and receipts. Thank you for the fun and inspiration you share with us!

Pam... OMG, happened across this one. My friend Anita and I have hundreds of napkins as we've done napkin art for the last few years. We join you in this serious napkin issue. This is a great idea! And so easy to do... and all those envelopes that I throw out... not any more! And, tearing the multiply pieces off... thank you! I've dealt with the edges. This is an awesome idea! I asked my little old aunt to save envelopes for me. She religiously gives me a big pile every 2 weeks. I don't have the heart to tell her to stop, that I have enough lol This will be a great way to use up those and my napkins.

Your narration is hilarious! I’d watch your videos *even if* I wasn’t interested in the crafts, but those are cool, too! Kicking myself for throwing out a ton of envelopes my mom had collected (she saves *everything*!), but we still have more so...looks like I’ve got a use for them after all! 😂 I actually can’t wait to get started. My youngest is very frugal & loves all kinds of handmade items, so I know who I’ll be giving some of my projects to. 😉

Great pouch video and ideas for using up what we have. Not only do I have my "collection" but my Mother-in-law's. She had a thing for Stationery, cards and envelopes so I got boxes full when I helped clean out her house. Good thing she never discovered Washi tape- Ha!

The Paper Outpost I live in a rural area so I don’t get the volume of junk mail most people do. I’m have my 84 year old mom save hers for me! I love the postcard size pieces the most😊

I've NEVER seen those paper napkins handled so smoothly and easily! I've pretty much abandoned them because when I use gel medium, they end up in a gooey, wrinkled, torn mess. Thank you.

Like so many of us, I adore watching crafting videos, but seem to rarely make something myself Until I found you. I have already made three mini projects! Picked up a random roll of packing tape today and made a tape transfer of an image from an old Reader’s Digest headed for recycling. I got so excited! And gathered up materials for my first signature using junk mail. Going to join the facebook group asap. You make me make stuff! Thank you so much!

The Paper Outpost And yesterday dyed some pages using coffee for one batch and walnut for another. The walnut came from a fresh black walnut from my yard in a cup of hot water for a few hours. Just have to be careful because it will stain hands! Off to make some signatures!
I rarely use washi tape but when I see a pretty one I still buy it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ah!!!!
