My 6 year old son was snuggling with me this morning asI was watching this. He loves that I make journals. He was completely enthralled in learning how to make flip card. Thank you for sharing and entertaining a kiddo who is too excited for Christmas! Hugs from New Mexico!

Simply way too much fun to start my day! Your comments and how easily your "go with the flow" through every project you display keep me smiling and inspiring me to - pardon the "frozen" reference - Let It Go! Great tip on hiding bluebirds too - I'm the worse stamper I know so now I mat get a passing grade in my own mind. I can see using this as a glued in on a journal page quite nicely. Loved it.

Pam you are hilarious, had me laughing with you today. Synonym for distressed: tattered, worn or troubled, anxious, tormented. Thank you for this tutorial, Love these cards and I have a hoarders supply of used and not used cards. My desk is cluttered with jewelry supplies right now, but as soon as I'm done with this project, I'll be making these flip cards.

FLIPACARD....So different from other cards makink that we see in some videos. It's unique and more personal. Just to let you know, I've painted the covers of my book with black acrylic paint. Two coats. Working well. I was thinking to apply a coat of glossy mod podge. Don't know yet. Have a good evening. Hug xoxo :-)

So clever and so much fun! For once I actually have the book pages to reuse so, I figured it was about time I did something with the field guides I have from all the different states/regions in which I’ve lived. What’s up with the fact though that each field guide only faces their illustrations in one direction? No birdie beaks going different ways in the same book!

What a great idea!!! Some of the cards one buys are SO boring/bland!! Here's a way to brighten them up and make them "your own". Oh, BTW, the wind blows thru' my brain all the time!!!

Where u tore off the "so light" there was also a "so warm" that would have paired nicely

Yes, they are...for stencils. I ended up getting them because I knew I would use them a lot :)I think you might be able to handmake something similar by cutting an acetate sheet with a craft knife following a drawn on image possibly :)

Here it is! The word is spelled "zhuzh" and means "to improve in appearance ". This came from the show "Queer Eye."

I don't think you can put it in the microwave if it has gold on it will start popping and making weird noises but I suppose you could try it with other washi tape

Zsuz??? This may help your husband Zsa Zsa could zsuz like no other! I do love this idea! Oh--a totally different application--I am going to stack about five of these to make for story/drawing prompt for kids. Top tier each page will have a intro reference, middle tier noun and an action, bottom tier noun. Ex: The Day (top), Dad ate (middle), Mom's purple hat. Next insert may say Remember when (top), ants invaded (middle), the wedding cake (bottom). Repeat format like this for each of the 5 pages-- then the kids can flip different tiers and all over and have numerous story/drawing prompts to complete. If my math is right this will give 125 different prompts (but my math comes and goes, especially once I am out of fingers and toes). Thank you!

What is that small tool you use to apply ink to the edges? I have looked through your store and cant find it listed. Thank you

FYI if you go on Amazon - look up "Oral Mouth Swabs". An inexpensive version of the dauber for inking. I've also seen those triangle shaped make up sponges used. Pam also made one out of a sponge glued to an old thread spool. She's all in favor of "using what you have". I love that!

Hi Debi, its in there and here is the link. They look different because the ink pads are still clean ;) www.amazon.com/dp/B016NQQL02/?tag=aiponsite-20&linkCode=ic5&ascsubtag=amzn1.infl.us.product&creativeASIN=B016NQQL02&ref=exp_thepaperoutpost_dp_vv_d and yes youc an make your own with makeup sponges and empty thread spools as an economical option :)
