Hi, this is a great fun thing to do. Something really fun about sticking down paper at random! I recently prepared a few art journal pages in a similar way, gluing down scraps to collage each page. Now they're ready to add gesso/paint/napkin/stamping/stencilling as required. I always get such good ideas from your videos and they are fun to watch as well!

First of all, Happy New Years from Kansas. I love this project. Really enjoy Nik the Book smith, also. I quit my job last March and had some hard days. Found Nik and she lead me to all of you. I’ve settled in and love this outlet of creativity. Not sure I will ever do it for income. Money has never been my motivator. But giving gifts, well, these are perfect. Can’t thank all of you enough for your inspiration.
I found a sewing machine at a thrift store. I have had so much fun learning to use it. I watched TH-cam videos and how to thread it and I haven't stopped using it. I just saw random pieces of paper together. Practicing different stitches.
Thanks for that comment Jessica! I'm feeing even more inspired, enough to overcome my fear of threading the machine to start with! Will do a TH-cam search for my machine brand, because the instructions are, hmmmm - really need to see how its done. So, thanks! I'm really looking forward to doing some practicing too :D

My thoughts exactly. Midnight-kiss Big Daddy-grab my phone and watch a video of my new friends making ephemera for junk journals. Went to sleep with visions of Sugar Plums aka...junk journals dancing in my head. Glue and ink fumes help the vision to last longer, just sayin.

Just did some neverending sorting in my craft room...kept looking at all my miscellaneous scraps and felt overwhelmed...you have just solved my paper problem...THANK YOU!!
I mentioned on another video that my crafting area is put away...but my sewing room is still operational! I'm going to make a tote bag using this technique. Thanks, Pam.
Love these! The stapler has a botton metal plate that needs to be turned around to give you closed staples. Usually you press it underneath and the plate turns around. Hope this makes sense. Must try this!
Also, I’m glad I’m not the only one with washi tape issues! My rant seems to be especially related to those imported products where the glue seems to “melt” sticking layers and layers of the tape together perhaps in the shipping/mailing process. Oh, and wound up gessoing over the sticker-uppers and embossing some stamps on the front. Sooooo much fun!

When using a stapler opened up make sure there is something softer underneath (I use an old phone book). once stapled turn over and press on the ends of the staples. Hope this helps. Thank you for your inspiration. Happy New Year

I wasn't going to read through 350 comments to see if anybody shared this yet. But when you do the stapler for the signatures you put an eraser behind it and then pull it out of the Eraser and use something to bend the Staples over after. I love these I need to make some. Thanks for sharing!
