I don’t think that it’s the same holocron we saw in Rebels. That holocron was destroyed after Maul forced Ezra to merge it and the Jedi holocron together.
Bringing back Maul is the best thing the writers ever did. What an essential character he has become.

I love maul but I’m kinda annoyed that he gets beaten by padawans, although the padawans were powerful. It just feels lazy
@@Smoothalcoholic he didn't. pls, the tpm duel ended when obi Wan was sent tumbling. As for the ahsoka duel, he was mentally hindered, holding back and didn't even want to fight.
@@cucumberwater6 doesn't change that he was defeated though. A Sith Lord trained by Sidious should have wiped the floor with anyone under at least Jedi master Rank. Maul also repeatedly fails to kill Obi-wan though that's mostly plot contrivance

I hope they do because in Rebels. Maul said he couldn’t defeat Vader alone and when he sensed him in one episode he look kinda scared so maybe they dueled before which is why Maul knows he can’t defeat him…. I’m just talking Tho lol

My head canon, Kenobi hold Maul in his arms as he dead, then Maul's eye flash open and he starts talking about the mysteries of the Force and walks out into the sand proclaiming he understands all of it. Say, " Tell your sister that you were right."

I would really like it if they made some "Official" legends stuff or jus retcon that out of Rebels, continuing his story on the big screen or in a show. Ever since I heard that one of George Lucas' Sequel Trilogy treatments had Darth Maul taking the Emperor's place as the big bad of the Sequels I always wanted to see it happen.

Having a RPG group allows you to come up with a lot of " What If ? " stories.
We just need more Star Wars Infinity Stories, along with Star Wars Tales where they had short stories making fun of Star Wars canon it's self.
Like : What if how the Death Star secret plans were stole from Tarkin. .. Plot Vader done it and left a Wally Duck holo cartoon in its place.
Ghost, plot a warehouse full of slavers were being token out with boobi traps set in their own living quarters, their security cameras were hacked, being shot point blank & with sniper attacks. Vader even shows up with a storm trooper patrol. The ghost sneaks pass everyone and Vader is thrill by the challenge, he can just barely taste the fear of the ghost that is remotely familiar to him but was unable to corner the ghost. The whole comic was shown by the slavers point of view as they got killed off one by one along with the storm troopers. And Vader is left alone wondering who the ghost is. End of the comic Leia is flying away angry that she couldn't destroy the place killing Vader cause there were still too many people left behind on that pirate base.

They should do some EU luke style stuff where Maul comes back on his spider legs and has nightsister magicks like he did in Rebels and Luke in the timeline between mando and sequel trilogy has to fight Maul and this version of Maul is far more evil/insane
Anyone else notice Leia's plan to save Han was to basically have chewie be either captured or more than likely killed cause there's no way Vader wouldn't kill every trooper there in exchange for one more friend of Luke's to either suffer or die

Years ago my gaming shop ran a RPG of D&D3.5e/ Star Wars where there was a Sith smuggler cult living on Tatoonie wait for Anakin Skywalker to become 12 years old to begin his Mandalorian/ Sith training. RotS played out as is, but the cult found Luke & Leia any way and train them for two years with Kenobie chasing after them.
Vader, " The Twins are 14 years old and of the need of requiring a proper mentor."
Kenobi, " Their your children Anakin, I chase after you for 13 years and your children for the pass two years, I need a break."
Then the Vong Invasion showed up and the Emperor called Kenobi back into service.
Note during Legends, Mara Jade was four years older than Luke.
Vader did said that she is NOT a Force sensitive, so it's unlikely for her to use the Holocron.
Anybody remember Lumiya? What if Q’ira becomes some kind of version of that? She could survive all this and be a villain for Luke in some post ROTJ timeline.

I think Qi’ra will actually replace Mara Jade in Canon. Once a smuggler on corellia, then secret apprentice to a Sith Lord, and in the final days of the empire, meets Luke Skywalker. With the common relationships with Vader and the empire, Luke, Leia, Chewy, and Lando will work with her and try to take the empire and Vader down. Luke and Qi’ra will find they have more in common than her and Han, especially if Qi’ra has history in the dark side of the force now. since Han has Leia now, her and Luke having a relationship kind of makes sense. Or I could be completely wrong and Qi’ra is replacing Maul’s role in training Darth Talon for the Lucas sequels. Either way, no idea.

It depends. The thing is we don’t actually know what makes a character force sensitive, aside from Anaikin being exceptionally gifted as a child. Or Rey and Luke being able to manifest it with the right motivation (e.g. Luke literally pulling off an impossible shot)
The other Avenue might be it’s a skill that can be trained, even by unattuned people, but their ceiling for proficiency is much lower.
The presumptive method the Jedi used; tests, midacholorians etc probably were looking for naturally gifted individuals. They probably just didn’t consider it worth their time to polish coal.
Didnt Maul at least go gray status if not jedi when in his last moments knowing but getting that assurity from Ben that luke is the one who will bring balance back and all that suffered from Sidious by Sidious and the dark side, will be 'Avenged' ? Jus a thought...
Maul always remained obsessed with the dark side and revenge even in his death his last words were “he shall avenge us” key word is “avenge” which shows he never abandoned thinking abt his sith philosophy your supposed to feel bad for him cus of how pathetic he became that he was so obsessed with one thing that he couldn’t move on with his life… getting cut in half by Kenobi ruined his career as a Sith Lord and he only to ever get some power for like 1 year on mandolorr before The empire came and took it away

I like the thumbnail picture of this video. It shows the early concept art of Darth Maul and there might be an action figure of it, but I could be mis-steaken about that.

I believe that Kira will become adept at using the holocron, but since Leia Organa is slowly developing Force light side abilities (much like her brother Luke Skywalker) she will probably have to confront Kira in her own fight.

The reason Maul, Sidious, Tyranus, Vader rarely do things like sith alchemy, magick, and other things we see Sith Lords do in the EU is cus they are restricted by stories and plot in video games they do the stuff that EU characters due like in one video game clone wars Maul uses force drain agaisnt clones of Obi Wan, Ashoka, and Mace Windu

Palpatine master was under the impression that Maul was just trained under the skill set of a Sith Assassin and not that of a Sith Lord.
Also Maul stated in the novels before Disney buy out, that he understand the How but not the Why political & criminal organization work. But Maul was still smart enough to figure out that his master was taking orders from someone else.
Either way, Maul was still raised as a Sith and his roll was mostly that of an assassin and not train to be a Lord, let alone a crime lord. Maul did that on his own.

Yea that novel is legends and in all of SW lore maul is never called an assassin even in that novel the word assassin isn’t used and Palps lied to plageuis cus Plageuis violated the rule of 2 by saying it wasn’t needed… firstly the Darth plageuis novel even says Palps lied to plagueis thirdly Sidious said in a canon source maul was more important that Dooku a true loss and not a proton torpedo
