I'd like to leave my 59 bug with you I know it would probably take a couple years, but I should would like to see it completely restored. My wife and I drive it quite a bit and its alot of fun. We love the work you do Chris and really enjoy your videos.
In this VIDEO! We take a look at one of my favorite restorations we did several years ago. This is a 1958 VW Beetle BuG Ragtop Sunroof out of the Pacific NW. A client of mine "Bruce" signed onto this bug to have it fully restored. And we did just that. Car was painted in an original color of Diamond Grey with a Sewfine interior, burgundy vinyl with beige tweed cloth, tan canvas ragtop. Wolfsburgwest Tan German square weave Carpet Kit. Coker Nostalgia 165R15 White wall Tires.
If I had a choice between a fully restored '57 oval sedan or an equally nice '58 ragtop, I would pick the ragtop. But I got my '61 ragtop because the seller had bought an oval sedan and was ready to part with the ragtop. Tough choice though, ovals are pretty cool.
OK so i am seriously thinking of getting my very first car ,my very first beetle actually ,but my friends and family drove me into thoughts, when it comes to safety about this car. I mean no air bags ,no seat belts (60s models i think) and all of these make me think like its kind of unsafe to drive it daily ,still love it thou ,whats your opinion on that?
Love the interior material & colour choices. Love the paint colour, and love the non towel rail bumpers. Great job!!!!
Wow, that was a treat.
So very classy.

I like our tires👍
My 59 is that color I need the new modern recipe for that paint so when I’m ready to restore it. Very rare color.
17:46 omg yes 👍
I'd love to ride in it just to hear how "quiet" it is, with all the sound-deadening installed.
Beautiful work as always. Quick question undercoat inside or new fenders or just paint? What do you prefer?
We like undercoat or a "chip guard" painted on clear so body color can be painted over it. Stops the rock "starring" from getting thrown up.
like the color combo. But the taillight placement mmm dont like when they are to high

Nice job - but I prefer a more period color.
