The 5 Best Styles aka Variations of the Classic VW Beetle Bug is here in this video. Of course, this is just my opinion, would definitely love to hear your thoughts volks! Please leave em in the comments section below. What is your favorite style the Vintage Classic VW Beetle Bug?
Personally I like each version. I own a 71 superbeetle. I think that the VW company should bring out a new beetle. In my personal opinion the VW company should always a new beetle. It's what made their company!!!
My first bug was a 71 super. Such a great car. I loved the old two spoke steering wheel before they went four spoke in 72. I have a 63 rag now but always have praise for the 71 super
A convertible adds an element that makes driving so much more fun. If you've never had a convertible, you don't know what you're missing, and then to drive an old Beetle convertible only makes it that much better. Driving at night looking up at the moon and stars and feeling the wind is awesome.
My Australian built 1966 standard Beetle, with original 1300 engine and gearbox, and Dulux Panama Beige paint, is the sweetest for me, it doesn’t even have a radio, but the heater works, so does the fuel gauge. 😊
The standard beetle forever. When I met my wife she told me that she was going ti pick up her first car that evening, it was a '67 Beetle. We still have it!
I can find something to like in all of them but when my money is being spent I would go early 60’s standard beetle but I also prefer the bay window bus over the split 😄
I like pretty much any kind of Volkswagen Beetle, but I would prefer the ones with the sunroof because after having a Beetle without one, I learned pretty quickly that Beetles heat up like an oven in hot weather. I especially like the ragtop sunroofs on the split and oval window Beetles.
I only have beetles with a beam. I like the strength of that, along with a swing axle transmission. But I would like to get a super beetle, some are in our group and I really like them.
My brother has your super beetle type 73 curved window, which has the strut suspension but my kind you only find in South Africa. A super beetle which has that 73/74 interior but the link pin suspension & swing-axle transmission, 78 model .😊 Edit: the frunk however isn't so bulging, but cutely short and better looking in my opinion.
Love the channel. Really do. But not really "Styles'; your showing more like model "Options" and "Design" from the factory. "Cal Look" is a style "Baja" is a style "Patina" is a style "Stance" is a style "Chopped" is a style Style is what you make out of it. The custom and mods scene.

I’m into the ragtops. Such a classy look. And to have the open sky above without any of the issues with the convertible tops is amazing.
standard + Rag = sweet spot

Pre 67 convertible without a doubt, despite obvious improved suspension starting with the super beetle.

1966 1300 Beetle. The pinnacle of quality with stainless steel door and bonnet handles, five bolt wheels and sloping headlights.
The Mexican Open Air Beetle would have been a good addition to this list. (a very big sunroof)
I'm the only one I know that prefers the Super Beatle. I love the curved panoramic wind shield. I wouldn't trade my 73" Super Convertible for nothing.
Love them all but the standard for everyday driving
❤ Da Split Vert
Thanks Chris Great video Glad to see you're putting them out there again
I like the South Africa 1600s curved windscreen standard beetle aka the the South Africa super bug

Standard Beetle is nice for me. Ragtops and convertibles are adorable. Never like the Super, its too modern for a Beetle.😊

Very true, thanks for the comments.
I prefer 65 or earlier.
pre 67 or go home
I've had several bugs. I've finally got a 69 convertible that I've had for 22 years, and this is the one!
