    Dear Alexa, I really appreciate that you are one of my best sources of French language I gained most.
    When I started learning French there was little bit confusing letters for example the two vowels (E and 0) are almost pronounced the same, although there is little bit difference.
    G and J are also very close but quite different.
    The most difficult letter for me was ( Y ). I think it has the longest pronunciation according to the other letters.

    When it comes to the vowel e, I find that it helps when I round my lips as if I wanted to say /u/, but then I say /e/ instead. That way I get a perfect /ø/.

    to say the E vowel get the letter e from the word problem, and say it alone, be sure not to include the m sound at the end though. that's one way to say the E vowel in french. you can also say "see" keep the ee and say bye to the s. for the U vowel you do the same thing but you round your lips. For example, you get the ee from see and round your lips.

    • @boptillyouflop
      @boptillyouflop 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sometimes 's' is pronounced at the end of words in French... mostly in Latin words ('virus'), English borrowed words ('yes'... I think 'bus' falls in that case), and some odd exceptions ('plus' in the sense of 'more', to contrast with 'plus' in the sense of 'not anymore' which is pronounced 'plu' or 'pu').

But evidently when the last letter of a word is an e, and the e is preceded by one or more consonants, the e is pronounced sometimes - but not always - but the consonant(s) is (are) pronounced (exception - present tense verbs ending in -ent). Or so I think. Alexa (or anyone), is there a rule about when this final e is - and is not - pronounced? Merci.
