Bonjour Alexa. In the sentence example, you use the word "pendant" twice. Which means "during". However, for the 2nd pendant it does not literally translate to " during". Are you able to explain why please?

So, I was a bit confused unil found another rule - those letter pares are pronounced as nasals when placed before consonant or at the end of the word.

(Oh, and partway through your lesson I thought "Ooh, what about 'marchent' - but then you answered that! Anyway, I really enjoyed your talk (my wife was listening too) - we're both Francophiles, we both speak reasobale French, but both need to work on it as it's - sadly - several years since we last visited, and I'm sure we'll be watching more of yours!
