Mr. Raghuram seems to be politically motivated rather putting his views as an economist.
He speaks about 35% kids suffering from malnutrition. One easy band aid "solution" would be to provide food subsidies/free grains, and continue doing that for every generation. We would just continue to treat the symptoms, and not the solving the real cause. OR, we could try to improve situation at the ground level by making sure every person has EQUAL access to the basic needs - School, Infra, Health. Enable the poorest person in India to be able to find work or create business so that he/she can self sustain their own as well their children's need. Not only would this be economically sustainable, but would raise the self esteem and confidence of the individual. Imagine the force of India when each individual is brimming with that confidence! Maybe I dont know everything what this BJP government is doing, but it seems we are moving in that direction.

States, monuments need to inspire it's people. Infrastructure is more important to India(China has done great in that area). Sanjay Gandhi wanted to sterilize the poor because in the future they will be a burden to all of India. Make India Asian fair again(test tube). Everyone wants beauty, clean, smart, sharp people, especially going overseas to any developed nation it makes it easier to adjust. When the Israeli's came to America they mixed and changed their names to learn the system. Indians also need to learn the system of other developed countries. Way the pro and cons. Outsiders that have mixed with the developed nations have gained knowledge and helped their own nation e.g. Israel, China, Japan, etc. You cannot live in isolation if you want a great life. Business first with everyone outside the nation. India like it's great space program needs to communicate at this elite level to make a impact. 90% of Chinese girls play classical piano, India needs to do the same. It will empower the female energy in a elite way. To make a statues of Lord Ram with a black stone is a abomination to Lord Ram, Indians in India, and abroad. The black stone does not represent them or Lord Ram. The statue needs to be at the level of inspiration like the reclining golden Indian Prince "Buddha" statues in the Indo Pacific. Lord Ram was blue like the depictions in the Pyramids. His statue should have been brown with blue sapphires. Like India's space moon landing it has to "Awe" India and the world. That is the kind of love Indians need for their nation. The best.

I agree with the malnutrition point. Because it doesn't just effect the kids of today, it might effect the next 2-3 generation after them even if their kids are getting proper nutrition. This needs to be handled. We need richer soil for that.
