The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion in Green Bay, WI, and two rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

Sir, I am a stubborn Protestant who is in school to be a Protestant Pastor. In the beginning of the Homily, you wondered if you had made a difference in anyone's lives... Yes, you have made a difference in mine. I listen to you, and when I hear your voice, I know I'm going to hear something that will refresh my soul. You speak in the tone and style that you don't hear much anymore, and I appreciate it dearly. It is a way that I try to speak when I'm at the pulpit, but the way you do it is flawless, and it inspires me. Every word you speak, I hear. Thank you for being the man of God that you are .Thank you. You are heard all the way here from Michigan. A lot of us love you up here. You are honest and truthful, and your honesty makes me not feel alone, an introverted and hermit-like lifestyle. God bless you, Father

Great comment. The “style” I hear is zeal for souls. No human respect. The power of his words is a reverberation of the words of Christ, preached in fidelity to and continuity with His Voice which has echoed for 2,000 years in the Catholic Church. I am quite intrigued that you recognize this Voice in the words of the priest, since it seems to me that Protestants, especially committed ones, would not be disposed to such docility. Are you considering becoming Catholic? That would be awesome!

Greetings, brother! Thirty-five years ago, I was very anti-Catholic, Protestant preacher who was convinced that all Catholics were going “to Hell in a hand-basket”. That all ended when, after trying to convert a Catholic family that had moved into our neighborhood, I was exposed to the fullness and truth of the Catholic faith (i.e. as opposed to the caricatures and distortions that I had previously entertained). Now, thanks be to God, I am blissfully Catholic and am, by God’s grace, a deacon in the Catholic Church.
I would love to have the opportunity to have a respectful exchange with you by either phone or e-mail. I believe that it would be enriching for both of us.
I would also like to offer you a complimentary copy of a book I wrote, “Christ in His Fullness: A Protestant Minister Discovers the Fullness of Christ in the Catholic Church”. It is available on Amazon, but I will happily send you a complimentary hard copy of the book or a PDF.
If any of this sounds at least interesting to you, please reach out to the Fathers of Mercy using the contact information available on their website and they will be able to put us in touch with each other.
In the mean time, here is a link to a television show on EWTN that you may find beneficial. It is called “The Journey Home”. It is a weekly program featuring the stories of people from a veritable myriad of backgrounds who have found their true spiritual home in the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church established by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ive heard this priest before, never pay attention to his name only the fact he’s from the fathers of mercy… 3 night ago I had a dream with him because I was getting ready for confession I immediately woke up at 5 am and stated to think about the dream in order to keep it fresh in mind for that morning I needed to hear something from him 😃

The same can be said for doing evil. If you want to change, the world, change the hearts, and there are many on this earth, who would change them for bad and evil to do more evil.. God has his judgment set for them too

THE GOOD FATHERS OF MERCY REMIND US WHAT HAS BEEN WITH US FROM THE VERY BEGINING WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A FOLLOWER IF CHRIST.
TO BE THE INES WHO LOVE ONE ANOTHER THAT WE MUST BECOME THE ONES WHO LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND THAT REALITY TO THE WOLD TO THOSE GOOD AND UGLY TO US.
FATHERS OF MERCY TEACH CHRIST ECPECT THREE THING OF US.
    WE TRUST HIM
    WE FIGHT BRAVELY
WE REMEMBER HE IS ALWAYS WITH US.
THERE ARE ONLY TWO OBSTACLES TO IUR HOLINESS
    DISCOURAGEMENT AND EXAGGERATED ANXIETY.
AS APOSTOLICS OUR SOULS MUST NEVER BE TERRIFIED NOT EVEN WHEN WE HEAR THE ROAR OF THE CANNON.
FATHER MAKES IT SO EASY FOR ME TO GIVE MY YES TO CHRIST ➕

You priests always do your best. I just kind of wish you'd focus more on the glad tidings of great joy more often for a change, if that's possible. In my opinion we have to trust the Holy Spirit's silent counsel more, too. Instruction from Christ's anointed on that subject would be very helpful!
