Marin Pine Mountain Dropper Post Installation

The new 2023 Marin Pine Mountain 1 is proving to be a capable bike on the trails, but there is one thing holding it back: The seat post. Like any modern mountain bike, it can benefit from a dropper post so you can adjust the seat height as you're riding. I have the PNW Ridge dropper post that I used on the Marin Bobcat Trail and luckily it is the same diameter seat tube on the Pine Mountain. And even better, installation should be super easy since the only internal routing is is up the seat tube. The rest is externally routed through some clamps on the down tube. So lets get this dropper post on and hit some steep sketch trail sections - without the seat interfering.

Nice man! All of my droppers are PNW, don't have any reason to go with another brand. What trails did you ride in this video? I can tell one is Northbank, but I don't ride much downtown, so I can't tell what the other ones are, especially with all the leaves on the trees.

Yeah eventually I’m going to buy a 200mm dropper from PNW for my Rift Zone. The first two clips are on Belle Isle. Fun little shoots coming off of the upper loop. Worth checking out. The rest is Northbank. Thanks for watching!
