- In this video I show how I made a Motorized Concealment Flag out of pallet wood. The American Concealment Flag serves as a gun case or gun storage, is something I been wanting for a long time and never seen a motorized flag version of it. So when my Army friends wife approached me about buying one, it was the perfect opportunity for me to make one instead. This build was so much fun but unfortunate I don’t get to keep it. The concealment flag is for someone else.
At the beginning of the video there is a fun clip of a burglar breaking into the house and a epic fight scene, at least I think its epic, but its all in good fun and just an act. In no way do I condone criminal behavior and its all for the video. Hope you guys enjoy it. No chocolate was hurt during the filling of this video. Lol

I made a coffee table similar to this with a magnetic lock and magnet on the underside of a book. That's awesome. I am going to have to try this some time.

Absolutely in love with this! It is the focal point of my house. The distressed wood with the wax paint thing you did cane out amazing. Plus it hides guns haha love the video, black eye from the kick should go away in about a week. Thank you so much for this brother!

Thats the same thought i had. Use hood/hatch struts with some type of push lock mechanism.

@Komar.....I just had a brain-storm! What about incorporating house sash window mechanisms which counteract the weight of the window when you slide it up & down. Keep it simple; get my drift?

@@KomarProject I'm just curious. It looks like you used 3/4" wood for your inner box. I used 1/2" in fear of the TV lift not supporting the weight. If you did use 3/4" wood, how much did it end up weighing?
My only concern is the speed at which it opens.. if your in a rush.. that'd be way too slow to access them.. :-(

I love the builds. But I have to ask about Thor. My family and I just lost a dog name Gus look almost identical to Thor. Minus my Gus had more white on right side of the face. My wife wanted me to ask did you get him from a litter of puppies. If so do they still sell puppies? Thor looks older but beautiful so I’m sure it’s been years. If you did get him from a breeder. But I told my wife I’ll comment and ask. Also I loved the loft bed you did for your daughter. Now my wife wants me to do 4 of them. One for each of our children.

This was my first time watching one of your videos. Great work. I love the project and the flow of the video. My only concern is that it is no longer a safe hiding place. Those flag boxes have been shown all over social media for years. I feel like anyone that sees it on the wall will know what is in it. I don't intend to take away from the quality of work, because it looks amazing, but as a responsible gun owner, I can't trust concealing firearms in those wall flags anymore. I really do like the project and would love to have one just like it, but social media let the cat out of the bag a long time ago.

What did you use to mount the foam? Would any old adhesive spray do, or do you recommend something more heavy duty to hold the weight of mounted fire arms?
I just used spray adhesive. You don’t need much as long as you have it right in there and not loose

Live in the UK, so no chance of guns for home defense, even using force is a problem, feels sometimes like if you were to use strong words against a home invader there's a good chance you'd get in trouble. But seeing this has given me an idea, use the TV lift to hold artwork to hide the TV, on the wall.

@@KomarProject Yes even if you do have a gun, it's not to be used for home defense, A farmer who had a group of men invade his home was given quite a long sentence for using a shotgun, as one of the invaders/criminals died. People, who have stabbed people in their own homes have suffered the same. Tazers, CS gas or pepper sprays, are all outlawed, for the public. Basically, nothing along the lines of castle doctrine, where if someone breaks into your home and they do threaten , or you have reason to feel threatened, you can take action (I realise castle doctrine refers to guns usually), but use minimum of force on the intruder. Personally I'd prefer to make noise in the hope that that would suffice. Though I do not, if someone kept a wrench or bar next to their bed say, just in case the worst happened while they were in bed, then they woke up to find someone in their bedroom. If they then used the wrench, then subsequently it was discovered or they said it was there for if they did find someone in the house, that would be seen as premeditation and they could wind up in prison, after court.

@@KomarProject It is defiantly a beautiful show piece. Way cool to hit a button and have your weapons drop out. It would be really cool if you could figure out a release mechanism where it disconnects from the motor in an emergency. But then you would want it in the bedroom probably where it's close at hand as needed. Keep killing it brother, you make amazing projects love your stuff!
