I wish Disney would revive this series for one last season, then we'd get to see ventress's return to the Jedi order (along with her death), Rex removing his chip, and all clones who violate order 66.

My Top 5 Best Star Wars: The Clone Wars Episodes of All Time! #5. The Battle of Umbara #4. Yoda's Journey #3. Ashoka Leaves the Council #2. The Shadow Conspiracy #1. The Siege of Mandalore
lol. TCW fanboy alert!! I love the clone wars, but there was a lot, let me repeat, A LOT of bad episodes! All the Jar Jar episodes. That virus episode in season 1. The episodes about R2 and 3PO going out to buy some fruits to Padmes party... That was just naming a few.
The best thing about the show, for me, was how the clones were portrayed as unique individuals with distinct personalities despite being carbon copies of one another.
Mines would be where they are underground in Naboo and (can't remember his name) planned on releasing a poisonous gas to the entire Naboo. And I dislike Jar Jar in the entire Clone Wars series, he is so annoying lol
Hard decision 1) Wookie Hunt 2) Grevious Intrigue 3) Defenders of Peace 4) Lair of Grevious 5) Legacy of Terror 6) The Lawless 7) Voyage of Temptation 8) ARC Troopers 9) Innocents of Ryloth 10) Massacre And many more!
The Lawless will always be my favorite episode hands down because of how POLARIZING it is. I have not watched an episode in that series with more awe than with this episode. Another favorite of mine was when the clones staged a revolt against General Krell. That was just badass and an amazing foreshadowing of Order 66 as the clones were able to take down a fully trained "jedi".
This show was the first thing to be rated PG-13 in the entirety of star wars. Up until this there was never anything higher than PG or T-for teen in the movies or games.
I choose to imagine that even though technically Morriban and Korriban are two different places in Star Wars that the Jedi just heard the name wrong and call it something slightly different. Both are the birthplace of the sith and both have the same look/storyline
I am gonna be honest I didn't think the series finale was that good. Maybe their is some hidden message I missed but it just didn't feel like the proper end to the show.
I personally loved the Onderon story arc in season five. Reminded me of Charlie Wilson's War. I literally fell out of my chair laughing when Hando said "shoulder fired". During the the first three episodes I kept thinking about Afghanistan in the 80s. Then Hando made his "delivery" and that put it all together. Beyond that the show if filled to the brim with history, political, and philosophical references. It is my favorite show ever as it was so well written.
1) The Wrong Jedi 2) To Catch a Jedi 3) Shades of Reasons 4) The Lawless 5) Old Friends Not Forgotten 6) A War on Two Fronts 7) Sacrifice 8) Carnage of Krell 9) Rising of Malacovence 10) Voyage of Tempetation
Hostage crisis is definitely one of my favourites. It ended season 1 on an amazing cliffhanger by introducing the villain of Cad Bane and had him succeed in his plan to free Ziro. How many family shows end their first season with the villains winning?
Maybe because the series improved to be better and better as time goes by. Some episodes from the first seasons was just bad, or shameful (TCW movie, Bombad Jedi), but other are brilliants (Rookies, Landing on Point Rain).
the best episode is when fives discovers the chips in clones, he is hunted down, then brought before Palpatine who reveals him the plans of order 66. then he escapes after trying to kill palpatine. he is about to reveal to anakin and rex about Palpatine's plan and the he is shot by other clones. also the zylo beast episode was lit

+Kieran Holmes Yeah, Orders was one of the best imo. Mainly because it's sad and is a requirement to understand Order 66. I never understood why the clone troopers would just turn like that. It always bugged me. Thankfully, they made good with Orders. And we get to see the aftermath of that story arc in Rebels.
That arc was perfect until the ending. I'd rather Pong had just been a shitty ractist jedi rather than a mustache twirling fallen jedi. Still my favorite set of episodes in the series.
+1993DJC I am so sorry but TCW tops the Prequel Trilogy and Rebels in almost every single way, from the characters themselves to the storylines as a whole; from the textures of the background to the animation of the characters; from the interactions between characters to the development of those characters it was just (ON THE WHOLE) better and no one should say otherwise.
Hondo looked way better in the TCW, Anakin didn't look like "Ken" Barbie doll in the TCW when compared to Rebels, 3PO was GREATLY undetailed in Rebels. Yoda looks more Human in Rebels with a MUCH rounder head when compared to TCW. Background details in Rebels is just lacking in General. I know Disney has a budget, but damn they could make a better attempt with the animation. Some people like gritty.
A few good episode you missed. “Orders” the episode where Fives dies “Massacre” where Grievous slaughters the Night Sisters “Plan of Dissent” where Fives and some clones blow up the droid control ship
***** That would be a close #2 on my personal list, just behind Sozin's Comet. EDIT: Upon further consideration, Southern Raiders would actually be my favorite episode, Sozin's Comet would be #2.
It's really sad..I hope Rebels matures as much as The Clone Wars did. They had 1-2 more seasons after in writting... I'd love to see the filler between the ending and the beginning of Revenge of the Sith. We'd get to see Ashoka still. Just not her Jedi self. The Clone Wars started out corny, then later on it got really dark... It's seeming like it's only starting to begin now that Grand Admiral Thrawn is back!
10: (To Catch a Jedi) was one of the most emotional episodes in the series 9: ( Darkness on Umbara) was another real emotional episode and was also very dark (loved it) 8: (Monster) Loved this episode because it goes more indepth with Darth Mauls species 7: ( Witches in The Mist) It was great because we realize Maul is alive (my favorite star wars character) 6: (Rookies) the best episode in season 1 5: (The Ghost of Mortis) One of the most strange and mystical episodes (still very good) 4: (Revenge) when Darth Maul and Obi Wan meet for the first time since Episode 1 (a moment i waited for, for years!) 3: (The Wrong Jedi) Sadest episode of all 2: (The Lawless) One of the best episodes because the action and the heartfelt moments 1: (Sacrifice) was one of the most creepiest episodes
If only they could have let the team finish it and put it on Netflix, i get that they put what they had on there. and that that's just not how Disney or business rolls. but still
Serena DeFlyier If they finished the show, it would have been caught up to episode 3. It would have been good to see order 66 in Ahsoka’s eyes as the series finale. RotS didn’t entirely show the emotion of order 66, but the Clone Wars, which has developed countless Clone character, would have made it more emotional and more impactful.
OH MY GOD YES I fucking loved those episodes. If they ever do a Republic Commando 2 or any gritty Star Wars game I'd love to see it set at least in part on Umbara. Tone-wise that first Umbara episode and the return to Geonosis were my favorites. It was pretty dark and intense for a CN show. Add some foul language and gore and you've got a good FPS.
when during season 1 episode 21? And during "Holocrun heist" at 2:04 Rex says "Grunt" I think the actor was meant to make a grunting sound. Also during "wookiee hunt" at 14:45 you can hear someone cough. Their sound system wasn't good back then.
"Rookies is the first show where they show clones as individuals. " fuck watchmojo the very first episode, ambush did that. Still rookies is one of my favorites
It won't unfortunately, however the shows director did go on to direct Star Wars: Rebels. It's a very different kind of show, not an anthology series for starters but rather a much more focused narrative on 5 main characters and is much more contained and less expansive in scope. I don't think it is as good as TCW, but it is serviceable. The first season centers around new characters (I love Kanan and Zed) and then shows classic characters periodically and then ties back into elements of the Clone Wars in season 2. If you're looking for it to be exactly like TCW then you will probably be disappointed, but if you want a show that isn't afraid to be fun and still has fleshed out characters while further expanding the mythos, I think it is well worth checking out. It's a rough start but it quickly gets pretty good.
Tyler Worsham Yea I watched all the episodes of Star Wars : Rebels so far. It's a great series. They also bring alot of non-canon characters canon such as Admiral Thrawne and sith holocrons and much more. They are doing a great job putting the hype on that series but I wish they could end the Clone Wars much better rather than a rushed end to it.
Raz3r Cheeser 3 incredible arcs were back to back to back. I’m talking about the Mandalore Maul Arc, Ahsoka’s arc, and then Fives and the inhibitor chips
I SERIOUSLY NEED TO RE-WATCH IT AGAIN! Cause this was one of the few best CN shows that they're allowed to kill characters with violence (I know they're a few shows that showed some deaths, but mostly of them were villains deaths and half of those deaths weren't that shocking for a PG-13 rating)
I would’ve liked to see “Lair of Grevious” as it finally shows how strong of a character the General was. But meh this show had so many great episodes it’s impossible to decide an accurate top 10.
Fergil The Fox Um actually it's not and Episode II is Attack of the Clones, not the Clone Wars. Please at least get your shit straight before making stupid comments
+Jacob Noel, you seem to mis-understood my comment, he was saying the CGI Clone wars was better then the prequels, i agree completely however i was simply saying that in the prequels episode 2: the clone wars is still better then the force awakens, so how about YOU get YOUR shit straight before making stupid comments :).
Fergil The Fox what I'm saying is episode II is NOT called "The Clone Wars," it's called "Attack of the Clones." It is also a MUCH worse film than TFA. It has potential to be great, but it is the worst Star Wars film. The Clone Wars is what the prequels SHOULD have been. Now like I said get your shit straight before making yourself look dumb :)
darkness on umbara is y fav episode because you get so much character development from captain Rex and it seems like every clone seen in this episode actually has a meaning
Agreed, i honestly prefer the Umbara arc over Onderon, due to the character development being better and the villain more complex than the one in Onderon.
“The Lawless” has me in tears every time, Obi-Wan loses everyone he loves, Qui-Gon, Anakin, and Satine, he doesn’t deserve it
I wish Disney would revive this series for one last season, then we'd get to see ventress's return to the Jedi order (along with her death), Rex removing his chip, and all clones who violate order 66.

+Marcus Dyer no its canon that she dies, they planned an arc for it involving her and Vos but since the show was cancelled it never happened, so they made it into a book instead
+Marcus Dyer She did die in Dark Disciple. A novel based on unaired episodes from the Clone Wars. And it is canon.
TwisterWinds I think a fitting finale would be if they just animated revenge of the sith with improved dialogue
It would be cool if they got more in depth with order 66 and showed anakin/Vaders slaughter in the Jedi temple he killed thousands of Jedi including shaak ti I believe
I loved this series and how it gradually got darker and more dramatic
I feel the exact same way.

It was a well thought episode
That arc was perfect until the ending. I'd rather Pong had just been a shitty ractist jedi rather than a mustache twirling fallen jedi. Still my favorite set of episodes in the series.
True
CGI SO MUCH BETTER THEN REBELS
TCW, Rebels is CGI too.
+Armin Reindl I said the quality
+1993DJC I am so sorry but TCW tops the Prequel Trilogy and Rebels in almost every single way, from the characters themselves to the storylines as a whole; from the textures of the background to the animation of the characters; from the interactions between characters to the development of those characters it was just (ON THE WHOLE) better and no one should say otherwise.
THAN*
Hondo looked way better in the TCW, Anakin didn't look like "Ken" Barbie doll in the TCW when compared to Rebels, 3PO was GREATLY undetailed in Rebels. Yoda looks more Human in Rebels with a MUCH rounder head when compared to TCW. Background details in Rebels is just lacking in General. I know Disney has a budget, but damn they could make a better attempt with the animation. Some people like gritty.
A few good episode you missed.
“Orders” the episode where Fives dies
“Massacre” where Grievous slaughters the Night Sisters
“Plan of Dissent” where Fives and some clones blow up the droid control ship
Orders is a sad episode with tragic foreshadowing
the butchering of the name savagé...you'd swear that they didn't watch a singl-oh wait...they probably didn't
No wonder this list is so off (for the most part)
dude this comment is so savage
Savage was pronounced wrong every time
but good list
you're trolling right?
+Emre Yanardağ I'm not mad about it I just noticed that every time
+Ryan S (yanmegafan101) Oh i get something wrong I'm sorry don't mind me.
+Emre Yanardağ it's okay
Top 10 Avatar: The Last Airbender Episodes.
And then a Top Ten Legend of Korra episodes.
Dave Filoni FTW
+Comic Anomalies While Dave Filoni did work on Avatar, it was only Season 1 he was involved in.
YAS
***** That would be a close #2 on my personal list, just behind Sozin's Comet.
EDIT: Upon further consideration, Southern Raiders would actually be my favorite episode, Sozin's Comet would be #2.
I'm really disappointed that Rebels, can't even touch this show.
th-cam.com/video/KXck6jaN5Z8/w-d-xo.html
Its just sad that they dont make it at least more believable..
Only ended because fucking Disney cut it. It has more seasons planned...
*had.
I'd love to see netflix pick it up
+Xerop681 TH-cam is full of 4 hours of the next scene however it is not fully completed so it is only unrendered blocky versions.
I believe it ended because Cartoon Network terminated the contract. It has nothing to do with Disney.
Personally, I really enjoyed the first Cad Bane episode. Would've enjoyed it having an honorable mention
Same. Introduced a really awesome character. While reintroducing characters like aura sing. Am I the only one that loves the bounty hunter episodes?
FPG Matthew cad bane?
Cad bane was the coolest character.
FPG Matthew same
the way he said Savage is a cringe for me. Doesn't sound right, the way they said in the show was better.
Yup, I don't see why the creator of this list didn't tell him (Watch mojo guy) how to actually pronounce it
fr Taz
The fact that they thought "Savage Opress" was a passable name was even more cringe worthy.
+Leedle Lee lol, you know what, it does sound pretty dumb the more I think of it.
anthuan xverier thanks, I fixed it.
4:58 "I got one!"
"Like hell you did..."
this show is far better then the prequels
Yeah.
This made the prequels better, since this show is a prequel
Indeed
That statement doesn't do the show justice, since being better than the prequels is not hard.
***** lol, they will if they want to play it like The Force Awakens, basically remaster the original trilogy.
#FinishSeason7
Datch and 8 that would have been the last season
Datch and 8 too! Someone from Lucas film said that they had made enough episodes for season 7 and 8
Congratulations!
Datch guess what? They are bringing back the clone wars!
I come from the future and your wish has been granted
10: (To Catch a Jedi) was one of the most emotional episodes in the series
9: ( Darkness on Umbara) was another real emotional episode and was also very dark (loved it)
8: (Monster) Loved this episode because it goes more indepth with Darth Mauls species
7: ( Witches in The Mist) It was great because we realize Maul is alive (my favorite star wars character)
6: (Rookies) the best episode in season 1
5: (The Ghost of Mortis) One of the most strange and mystical episodes (still very good)
4: (Revenge) when Darth Maul and Obi Wan meet for the first time since Episode 1 (a moment i waited for, for years!)
3: (The Wrong Jedi) Sadest episode of all
2: (The Lawless) One of the best episodes because the action and the heartfelt moments
1: (Sacrifice) was one of the most creepiest episodes
z1josh thank you
Dodnt read but nice
What about landing at point rain
2 hour Crafts Also amazing
If only Disney kept this series going
Hell no Disney would ruined it.
If only they could have let the team finish it and put it on Netflix, i get that they put what they had on there. and that that's just not how Disney or business rolls. but still
L
Disney created a squeal. Rebels. The Clone wars was over the show caught up to the movie. You would understand this if you read Ahsoka's comic
The Clone Wars>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Rebels
True, but Rebels is still becoming a really great show.
***** nah Disney is doing very well, especially with the EU. The comics, novels, and Rebels have been fantastic and coherent
+Noble actually the one I like about rebels was when Asoka vs dearth Vader episode I think final episode of season 2
Agree.
hopefully the show gets better over time
damn i miss the clone wars :(
AugmentedGravity then get ready, because It's. Not. Over. Yet.
Not for long you won't. We're going back to that CG story paradise.
Not yet
AugmentedGravity it’s back
AugmentedGravity returning
What the box is only on the honorable mentions!?!
should be top 5 atleast
Top1
The box is the best
Love That episode
TOP 3
The Umbara Arc is one of my favorite storylines in the show. As it shows the darkest moments from the clones perspective.
I personally loved the return to Geonosis and Battle of Kamino arcs. Umbara is a close third for favorites.
+Luke Skywalker agreed
Luke Skywalker I can't wait until they actually give you lines in Episode VIII
It should of been higher on the list shows the impact of war on both clones and Jedi
I cried when Asoka left the order :-)))
Same, but I got it. I mean, WHAT a dick move. Jedi Council = council of dickery
Especially Mace Windu, he was a dick.
Same here.
Clara I-M IKR
I cri every tim
I feel the " landing at point rain" should have made the list (season 2)
SOGGY KETCHUP definitly
How was it not! I completely agree
YES! That was quite an episode!
naw that was just a bunch of fighting
I agree landing at pint rain was bad ass
Rookies is the only episode where they used a profane word.😂
“Hell”
Jonathan Anderson They had one more. Season 1 episode 21.
when during season 1 episode 21? And during "Holocrun heist" at 2:04 Rex says "Grunt" I think the actor was meant to make a grunting sound. Also during "wookiee hunt" at 14:45 you can hear someone cough. Their sound system wasn't good back then.
Natasha De Rosa when windu and 2 of his troops are looking over a battle that previously happened, one says must’ve been a hell of a fight
"Rookies is the first show where they show clones as individuals. " fuck watchmojo the very first episode, ambush did that. Still rookies is one of my favorites
One of the clones said "damn" in the movie
Swtcw should come back
it should
Definitely
No it shouldn't. Disney would FK it up.
the series started with yoda and ended with yoda and i am going on a star wars clone wars netflix binge
Same here my brother
Yup time for red bulls and lots of pizza
There are more unfinished episodes after that,
+Fernando5455 the bad batch
You're not the only one. And what you say holds a lot of water and it's legit to boot.
Lawless is my favorite. The whole Mandalore Maul arc is the best arc in the series IMO.
Will Morris fax but in my opinion the box is the best episode in general. But u right, the mandalore Maul arch is the best
Raz3r Cheeser 3 incredible arcs were back to back to back. I’m talking about the Mandalore Maul Arc, Ahsoka’s arc, and then Fives and the inhibitor chips
Raz3r Cheeser yes someone else who also likes the box
@@gjo515 Fives and the chips was in a separate season though.
Matthew Mazzatto Yeah but they were still back to back to back
This is gonna need to be updated after season 7 comes out lol
Brayden Campbell I’m certain most will be season 7 in the updated version
I really really hope they get it right
The last 4 episodes of season 7 will be here
There's a serious lack of Cad Bane on this list
All of these are better than any episode of Rebels
Except Twilight Of The Apprentice, Siege Of Lothal, Zero Hour and Twin Suns.
SantiagoSkywalker98 even then...the clone wars is better
CiaranPeake98 Of course!!!! :D
Old friends not forgotten is the best episode. It’s something else man.
"Savage" Opress. Someone didn't watch the series =P
What that is suppose to mean?
Apparently not. If you mispronounce my brothers name, you deal with ME!
My favorite episode is when they get the characters name right.
Watching this list wants me to re watch all the episodes of the show.
Netflix
EVERY. LAST. EPISODE.
Yo I watched that entire series like 5 times
I SERIOUSLY NEED TO RE-WATCH IT AGAIN! Cause this was one of the few best CN shows that they're allowed to kill characters with violence (I know they're a few shows that showed some deaths, but mostly of them were villains deaths and half of those deaths weren't that shocking for a PG-13 rating)
same
I would’ve liked to see “Lair of Grevious” as it finally shows how strong of a character the General was. But meh this show had so many great episodes it’s impossible to decide an accurate top 10.
Grievous was kind of a bitch
the CGI clone wars was so much better then the prequels
Owen Buckner *cough* *cough* holiday special
*cough cough* Force Awakens is far worse then episode 2: The Clone Wars, fight me if you disagree
99.9% of the vid was Maul And Savage xD
I wanted that one episode where, I forget the name of the clone, but he finds out they have chips in there head that will make them turn on the Jedi.
Familyguyextreme yeah I thought it was either Fives or Echo.
The clone that died was Fives m8
Yeah that was good. That was Fives I think
Fives was my cinnamon apple. (Only because he was second under Rex but still)
+Erik Delgadillo it was fives
Is anybody watching this after season 7 was confirmed at Comic Con. I’m so Hyped!!!
Same bro
Me
I’m watching after season 7 episode 1 came out
grevious needed more badass moments
The only moment like that I can think of when he attacks dathomire.
Agreed. Massacre was a top episode. Giving him a much needed victory
Josh Eastham what about when he attacked and killed all the night sisters and what about that part where he crushed a clones face with his foot/arm
Improved Bacon he didn't choke the clone he crushed the clone's face with his foot/hand
He was in the 2003 series
i would love a standalone movie about the clones
AirsoftGamer rnt they making a 501st movie?
Or a movie about the special training gree, Bacara and the others got, espiclaly focusing on Rex compared to Cody
AirsoftGamer a stand-alone movie about Fives, now that would just be the best!
How about a Republic Commando movie.
darkness on umbara is y fav episode because you get so much character development from captain Rex and it seems like every clone seen in this episode actually has a meaning
you also get character development from all of the main 501st troopers.
Agreed, i honestly prefer the Umbara arc over Onderon, due to the character development being better and the villain more complex than the one in Onderon.
I thought the one where Maul teamed up with Hondo's pirates was pretty badass.
I think the umbara episodes were the best! I loved all the characters and hardcase and waxers death were so sad!
