Kenobi and Darth Maul's last standoff is the most realistic sword battle in the entire series, and it shows Kenobi's mastery of the lightsaber.

It is about identifying the openings and weak areas of your opponent as swiftly as possible and incapacitating them as swiftly as you can in the miniature burst of adrenaline that is the entire battle, lasting mere seconds from beginning to end.
His tactical genius is what helped him fought Maul off in seconds.
Also, seeing Obi Wan use his old master’s saber style brought me back memories.

The entirety of the last 4 episodes of TCW could be number 1 and it would make complete sense. They’re so good. They made Ahsoka a top-3 Jedi imo(she’s such a great character). I think they’re some of the best Star Wars we’ve ever gotten! And Ashley Eckstein’s voice performance was genuinely incredible!

I’ve gotta say it’s not a battle per say but Maul versus (without a weapon) the clones using only the Force and a hallway
They are easily the best prices of Star Wars media ever made. The soundtrack, writing, editing, building tesnsity, charecter sendoffs, and payoff that you’ve seen coming since the beggining but is still insane is just amazing

I agree. I also think Kanan’s death and Ahsoka leaving should’ve been higher up as well.
the last 4 episodes of the clone wars should be number 1. I find those better in that moment than anything else I saw and I've never felt that way since I saw revenge of the sith in 2005.

Ahsoka experiencing Order 66 is PEAK Star Wars and watching Rex try his hardest to hold back shooting her gets me every single time.
Kanan's sacrifice was a powerful moment, even more when you watch the full episode where he knows that he will die, prepares himself for death and says his goodbyes.
Something that hurts is that he did know and that he tried to have the most fun he could with his family. The saddest part is he got his eyesight back at the last moment to see them one final time. Rebels might not be everyone's favorite but damn this is a powerful show at it's highs

My honest honorable mention. Kanaan and Ezra VS the Grand Inquisitor. Ezra's toyed with as being a padawan facing down a former Jedi, but then once he's out of the picture and Kanaan steps on the scene, Kanaan not only utilizes dual wielding to great effect, but also the stun pistol aspect of Ezra's first lightsaber. A great duel and everything one should EXPECT a lightsaber duel to have.

The fact they got Ray Park for the motion capture for Maul in his fight with Ahsoka easily makes it my favorite moment from season 7 of the Clone Wars

The Vader vs Ashoka duel on Malachor is by far my favorite. I also feel that Durge should have gotten some love

The Clone Wars and Rebels were the reason I fell back in love with Star Wars.
Personally I would put Fives's death at number one because of the implication that he was so close to exposing Sidious but ultimately in the end, the dark side wins and Fox kills him. That and Fives's is my absolute favorite clone
I think that "I, am no jedi" is still the most powerful line of dialog ever in the star wars universe. Even more powerful than "I am your father".
I know a more powerful one. Spoken by a jedi master, a general in the clone wars, a legend, a wise man. His presence always brought fear to his enemies. With the following quote he made one of the leaders of the enemy army shiver. He said ..... "Hello there"

Vader knew she was no longer a Jedi better than anyone. He was there when she left.
Don't forget " a powerful sith you shall become, hence forth you shall be known as...."

And it really hit me when we all saw Anakins face under his rebreather as he looks at his apprentice. He even thinks about her but the anger consumes back to me when he remembered how she left him and the order.
I think anakin taming the brother and sister on mordis was stupid cool. The music accompanying it, the very fact that he was told it should be impossible, and the sky changing under his very will all showing us truly how powerful he is. At the very least it’s better than Kanans death. The only way you didn’t see that coming is if you’re legitimately 5 years old.
Easily top 5 moment in clone wars. Truly shows how powerful he could of been.
I feel so bad for Anakin. When Ahsoka left the Order, he was trying not to let it show, but it crushed him emotionally. I don't think the damage was ever repaired.
That would have been the perfect excuse to leave the Order and move away with Padme, Lord RobertXVI.
7:35 what this video missed talking is how kenobi finished off Maul. With the same stance of Qui-Gon before he died. He also changes his stance on the episode you can see it

He only changed stance once Maul light up the second blade. If it was single blade lightsaber, the fight would have lasted longer.

the obiwan vs maul in rebels is the best scene for me because it has so much emotion and impact that has been put to it since the phantom menace, all maul wanted was his life back after naboo, everything went downhill since, so he just wanted to take revenge on the person who took his life away because it’s the only thing he’s been trying to do since, and kenobi feels mauls pain so he doesn’t want to hurt him but when he threatens luke, obiwan is serious. best duel between two old friends in my opinion.

Rebels is overlooked way to much, it's up there with the clone wars in my book. Esspetaly the season 2 finale and all of season 4

Pleasantly surprised Resistance got even a honorable mention but I have to admit that that moment definitely earned it.

I liked the reanimated shots of EP lll from the bad batch opening. Really shows how much effort was put into the show and really had us wondering what a fully reanimated Star Wars film would look like…
I'm surprised the lightsaber scene from the Ronin episode of SW: Visions wasn't an honorable mention. The art style, action, animation, and visual shot as he unsheathes the lightsaber hooked me into Visions.

The great thing about the maul obi fight in rebels is that maul tried the exact same move that killed qui gon and obi saw right through it

I would’ve added one more moment….. the Clone Wars finale where we see Darth Vader arrive on the crash site. I thought it was poetic.
Kenobi vs maul is my favorite, eventhough it was a quick duel it ended with an emotional punch. I still think he is a slept on duelist.

K'kruhk actually survived the battle of hypori, he can enter a state of hibernation that heals his wounds and at the same time feigning death.
I'm surprised they didn't show when Kylo Ren actually forced Commander Pyre and Agent Tienry to aim their weapons at each other with the Force, even if he did that when he was only in hologram form. Really showed how powerful he was.

For me it’s when Bo Katan and Kenobi are fighting to get off of Mandalore after Satine has died. That shot when the hangar doors open is one of the most beautiful in all of Star Wars

Can I just say that the concept of a lightsaber's color changing depending on whoever holds it is so freaking cool. Idk if the transition between holders has ever been seen before, but I loved that addition to the Visions series
I consider Genndy Tartakovsky's Clone Wars being my all time favorite STAR WARS show more then the CGI Series, I do enjoyed Mace Windu Fight The Droids and General Grievous's First Debut.

Maul killing the clones on a hallway using nothing but the hallway should at least have been an honorable mention
Top 3 (In my opinion):
1. Ahsoka vs Maul
2. Ahsoka leaves the Jedi Order
3. Ahsoka vs Darth Vader
I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan! Especially the series, I grew up watching these moments, and it was awesome, one of the most greatest tv series of all time! I had Ahsoka leaving the order at number 1 for years since it's release, because it was so heartbreaking that we wouldn't be able to see more of her character in the series, although she came back in rebels, but not the Ahsoka before, but then after their final season in 2020, it took world by storm with one of the best star wars moments in the saga with Ahsoka vs Maul. It was an amazing duel with great dialogue, story, design, graphics, music and, of course, outstanding stop-motion. Back to leaving the Jedi Order, I was sad when it happened, but then time went by, I realized it was the right thing to do especially with Jedi Order being untrustworthy in the Order 66 scenes. And finally, When Ahsoka battled with Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader while uncovering the truth, this had high expectations and excitement because we were wondering if this would happen and it did!
I can’t believe that you never mentioned the death of fives, that scene made grown men cry
For me, a lot of the list would be from the first Clone War show. I just loved that one so much.

No Kenobi episode could ever beat Obi Wan and Maul’s final duel, and Maul’s dying words
Looking back at season 5 of the clone wars, we have come to see that Ahsoka’s decision to leave also made her regret her choice of leaving the order when she found out what Anakin has become.
It is a painful revelation in the final season and Star Wars Rebels where we get to see their bond has tragically been shattered.

it ultimately had to happen to save the galaxy. It was the Jedi that failed them both and is usually their teachings that have consistently lead to their downfall
@@UnrealAxel27 It’s not just the failure of the Jedi Order but also the corruption within the Republic which they elected Palpatine as chancellor. Unaware that the Senate have selected a possible dictator as we later known him as the Emperor. The moment where liberty and democracy slowly dies started when the Clone Wars began by given Palpatine the emergency powers.
Soooooooooo many moments from the Clone Wars show that you could literally make a top 100.. Rebels could carry a top 10 easily. Notable omissions where Satines death, Palpatine vs. the Mauls, the Mortis ending.. I could keep going really.
The way they tied in Ahsoka’s escaping the clones in Order 66 back to Anakin testing her with the Clones in Tales Of The Jedi was the most brilliant piece of Star Wars I’ve ever witnessed!
Ashoka vs Vader was it for me. When that tiny shred of light still in Vader comes through when he says "Ashoka," it still gives me chills.
So much Ahsoka-related content on this list. I agree, she is one of the very best parts of SW, animated or no.
The 2003 Clone Wars series is criminally underrated
When Ahsoka says I am one with the force and the force is with me while finding captain Rex's inhibitor chip was one of my favorite scenes in the Clone Wars. That show and Rebels are two of the best shows on tv. Ever
The fan edit of Ahsoka vs Vader with Duel of the Fates on top of it is just perfection.
A lot of emotional moments had came either it was the Entirety of Ahsoka, The clones, or Kanan’s death, there were well written by Filoni. But you get so built up in tears. But some moments weren’t and we’re amazing for duels and last standings.
So basically, this is the Top 10 Ashoka moments.
What’s funny is I thought number 1 would be when Anakin finds out he is the chosen one in the same episode where he finds out he becomes Vader, him balancing the force and saving Obi-Wan and Ahsoka is what I believe shows Anakin at his fullest potential, while being beautiful at the same time

Sigh.. feels so long ago, but it's still a brilliant scene
finally some recognition on master tartakovsky's the original clone wars. though his unique masterpiece of anakin & ventress long duel isn't on the list, it's nice to finally see his amazing artistic touch on the series is mentioned. can't understand all this overlooking on his initial run. simply masterful, so star wars and unmatched since.

What's crazy is that mace windu droid fight is considered part of the live action continuity
We definitely need more highlight lists of the animated Star Wars Universe videos!!! This video brought all the feels.
Considering that the Ahsoka vs Maul fight was mostly motion capture and was the last lightsaber duel in the entire TCW show, I think it should be been given the number one spot! That’s what I was expecting when I began this video! Talk about major disappointment!!!

The fact so much of this was clone wars is a testament to the outrageous quality of that show
As much as I loved the Mortis episodes, for me the Order 66 scene in Shattered just gets me every time. For me, it’s the most momentous scene in the entire franchise. Having said that, I found myself blubbing uncontrollably during Kanan’s sacrifice. Both scenes show what an absolutely splendid job the writers and producers did in slowly building up characters that we cared for. Both series were really in it for the long term and absolutely delivered for the viewers.
Ahsoka vs vader still gives me goosebumps

The 9th Jedi was probably one of my favorites episodes of that show because they took the concept of lightsabers changing color to an exaggerated anime level of craziness lol like in normal Star Wars it starts off basically clear then changes when someone uses it but what pretty permanent unless someone bleeds it purifies it or mace windu was kind of in between so he probably had a blue lightsaber at first that turned purple or it just turned purple at the beginning either way that’s pretty permanent so they took it to a whole new level lol
The clones had it real ruff man. The 501st funeral really hits hard man.

I honestly think Thorn's final moment would make it, since that scene is emotion so is Captain Vaughn's death us also emotional.
The Clone Wars is the best Star Wars content out there imo. Far above the movies and Disney+ shows. Wish it got more budget and episodes but maybe that’s it’s quality. Stayed under the radar to develop Ahsoka and Anakin as the best Star Wars characters.
Five’s death should have been on here because it shows a clone almost exposing the whole plot of palpi and him dying just hits hard
I was hoping they would mention The Mortis Gods. Those 3 episodes give so much depth to the lore of the force.
The CW episode where Ahsoka looks at all the clone helmets speaks volume, it's a sad somber moment.
Number one: "So I says to her baby, you and me could really-" "You never even met a girl!"
General Grevious' debut made me so hyped to see him in episode 3. Boy was a beyond dissapointed and let down.
I don't know, I would have put the destruction of Tipoca City in The Bad Batch at #2, including the shots we get, showing the interiors of the building, the mess hall, the training, clone capsules in the giant rotating beams.... it was a truly emotional and epic scene, and one extremely important as it was the clones themselves in their Venator Class cruisers, that destroyed their home... under orders and influence of Order 66 of course.
More Visions scenes should be on this list. I LOVED 'The Ninth Jedi', but I have to interject 'The Duel' and 'The Village Bride' as well!
'The Duel' just because of the fact there were two Sith battling against each other (one of them with a 'broken' blade that won't turn off)
'The Village Bride' mainly because of the fact the Padawan ends up coming 'out of hiding' to help save a village in distress, and has this one AWESOME moment (won't say because of spoilers). :D
I saw the Ahsoka and Maul fight at #2 and really had to think of what could be at #1. Then I remember the best moment of season 3. Top tier listing

Can I just give props to Stephen Stanton? His Obi-Wan sounds exactly like Alec Guinness. I remember hearing someone that I know watching Rebels in another room. I didn’t know that at at the time and assumed that they were watching a deleted scene from A New Hope or something!

It might not be as powerful as the others. But the moment when the empire destroy Tipoca City is really hard. As we saw so many clones died trying to save it when the Separatist attack, just to be destroyed by the empire they helped put in place.

I only now realized that Kanan somehow regains his vision just before dieing....
