I like Auburn for its underdog vibe and 2013 Auburn made me a college football fan. 24 years of watching NFL only; being vaguely aware there's football on Saturdays. In NYC; we have no team, and trying to understand college football took effort. For NYC NFL fans college is bewildering: Totally Separate and unequal power 5 leagues. Polls making running up the score matter.
What I love most about College football might be the fact Regular Season games MATTER so much emotionally to fans. NFL fans have a huge disconnect; about reg season games being pointless. To the actual coaches, players, and families EVERY FOOTBALL GAME is life and death. Watch All or Nothing 2016 Rams Amazon prime ; a catastrophic season, the pain and suffering is so real of losing 12 games. Nobody gives up, oh, we're not making the playoffs, who cares.
