hi. great video ,really helpful. Great tip on taking some photos .I am planing to do the same soon to my TBS.Did you ever think about getting the spokes powder coated ?

Hey moonman, thanks for the compliment! I took it into consideration, but I thought it would be too much to also powdercoat the spokes, I like the chrome, gives it some pop :)

What kind of lift/jack is that? I was looking at some for my Scrambler but didn't think it would balance well since the support area seems to be all in the front. Thanks for the videos. Very Helpful, especially for a novice like myself.

Great vids. I was actually starting a lot of the same exact mods (on the same bike) before even finding your videos. Curious if you opted to rattle can, plastidip or powder coat your rims? I'm leaning toward powder after a lot of forums.
Are those Tec shocks still working out well?
    Cheers.

Hey Travis0017, thanks! Yeah after doing some research, I realized that removing the wheel and spokes is really the only way to go. Most places only charge $30-$40 per rim, respoke by a pro is where the cost came in. I rattle-canned the chrome headlight grille black, that came out fine.
Tec shocks are great so far, have over 1000 miles on them already and really no complaints. I removed the extra bolt lengthener, so now my feet are planted on the ground...highly recommend those shocks! If you are in the Central Valley of CA, I know a couple people you can use.
Good luck! Record you vids, be great to compare and learn :)

did you remove the exhaust in order to do this? and do you have to or is it a matter of preference?

No you don't have to on the Scrambler, the high pipes are completely out of the way.

Did you buy the bike brand new or did you buy on used? I'm having a difficult time finding one near my area. Near Idaho...

Hey Tiegs, I bought the bike used with 1600 miles on it. I also had a hard time finding one, apparently owners rarely sell their beloved scrams :) Now that they are discontinued it'll be even harder to find. Expand your area, you might have to go out of state.
