Great video, thank you for making and sharing. I recently purchased a 2010 scrambler with 8k miles and I was able to easily follow your video and give it an oil change this weekend.
Really enjoy your Scrambler videos. Months ago I was looking to get the Arrow exhaust for my '15 Scrambler found your video. Now looking to change my oil, typed in Scrambler oil change your video came right up. Really lovin my scrambler, so much fun hittin those hight RPMs!!!
I had a Harley Road King. Dealer wanted $450 for an oil change! Needless to say, I changed it myself. I taught four guys in my neighborhood to do their own.
i would like 2 c how much metal or engine debris is in the oil I have scanned 4 'new oil changes' not 1 person has examined tHE OIL! Really would b interesting so maybe I will have 2 do 1 myself
Nah you're good buddy. At 600 miles your bike is just broken in, check for chain slack and wear on sprockets. At 6000 miles is next major tune up, but I'd keep an eye on oil level and chain slack every few hundred miles as well as as bolts that might have come loose during riding. Also clean and lube chain every 200-300 miles, easy stuff and keeps your bike looking clean!

Hey thanks bro! for the this vid. Just bought a 2015 triumph scrambler. Loving it. Doing my my first oil change tomorrow... you as my guide.
Awesome Dimitri, good luck!
Solid video. Chill and informative. No annoying music or anything :)
Warming the oil also put the "particles in suspension". That way all of the bad stuff get mixed up and drained.
Thanks for sharing! I am about to try my first change on my Scrambler. This was super helpful! Hope it goes well!
Tara Harder I m sure you’ll do great! Have fun!
Thanks for the video. I have a scrambler myself (first bike) you saved me a lot in mechanic fees !!!!
marleeboyproductions Awesome glad it helped you out! Best to do things yourself and learn stuff!
Hi, scrambler owner in the UK here, great video.

Herbert Pilch Glad I could help, good luck!
Thank you so much for sharing, very instructive video
Love that"oil filter wrench" ha! Good video.

The Harbor Freight Torque Wrench you bought will work. 25 nm = 18.2 ft lbs, I'm sure your new torque wrench will handle that.
Gregory Nishida Yep sure did, thanks Gregory!
Do it every 10000 mile/1 year?
why does a washer need to be replaced? can you use an aftermarket oil filter?
Because they get crushed against the steel as they are a softer metal. You can use/do anything you want buddy, your bike not mine.
Cool man I got a scrambler this was a very useful video
Are these hard to work on?
I can do everything on my bike. Except for tune up that requires mapping with computer software.
Hey there, I missed my 600 oil change..and now I've got 2500 miles on the bike? Does it mean I am screwed?

Great video. Remember to avoid skin contact with used oil : it causes skin cancer in the long run.
oil price .what a rip off,
