Kevin O'Sullivan Calls Ed Miliband "The Most Dangerous Man In Britain"

  • Kevin O'Sullivan reacts to Former Labour leader Ed Miliband pledging that the party’s clean energy plan will deliver “clean, affordable power and good jobs for Britain”.
As Labour’s shadow climate and energy secretary, Mr Miliband will address the Global Offshore Wind conference to outline his vision for the UK’s offshore wind sector.
One of the party’s green aims is to quadruple the amount of offshore wind power in the UK by the end of the decade, however, the party backtracked on its promise to spend £28 billion a year on green projects last week, in an attempt to underline its commitment to “financial stability”.
Kevin says: "We have a massive problem with crazy Ed Milliband"

Not at all. He's got himself a highly-paid job in the government. Not many people earn anything like as much as he is getting. In this day and age, the more fruity you are the more promotion you get. You get to be a Cabinet minister or a Head of Sustainability or a Chief of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion. Jobs galore for those willing to bend to the way the wind is blowing.

Miliband is indeed the most dangerous individual in government. The minor disruption that shale gas would have caused pales into insignificance compared to the wholesale destruction of our countryside with wind turbines, solar farms and pylons to transmit this energy (if the wind is blowing and the sun shining). And all for what? Much, much more expensive energy and even less reliability whilst depending on gas for backup. Not our gas, of course, but that imported from the petrodictatorships we continue to fund. Starmer needs to see sense and very quickly to remove this nutcase and his eco-zealot advisor.

Adding more windmills destabilises the grid, which will lead to blackouts.

I began investing in stocks and Def earlier this year, and it is the best choice l've ever made. My portfolio is rounding up to almost a million, and I have realized that when a stock makes it to the news. Chances are you're quite late to the party, the idea is to get in early on blue chips before it becomes public. There are lots of life changing opportunities in the market, and maximize it

I cannot say the opinion as to whether "Electric windmills" are ugly ot not bothers me. The fact that they are an uneconomic and an ineffective way to gather unreliable low density energy as a replacement for what we use now, does.

If one has £60Bn to spend would that not be better spent on four or more nuclear power stations which generate 24/7, last longer than 25 years, don't need a large fleet of diesel powered motor vessels (to maintain them) and no payments to the crown.

We are importing billions and billions worth of energy each year. How many more wind turbines & solar panels will we need before we are 100% green energy?. How much more energy will we need when all vehicles are electric and need charging daily?. A few years ago they were removing pylons because they were supposedly bad for health. I live in Lincolnshire they want to put 420 pylons across the county to transport green energy.

Windmills in Scotland generate something like 28.5% of their capacity, it's not just birds that are affected marine species also damaged you just don't see it. The surveying process is the likely cause of 2 mass whale strandings in Scotland in recent times.

and ask the question about what happens to wind/air behind these turbines, what are the effects on air currents? Don't they cause huge changes? Think this is why they can't be close behine each other.

£60 billion could install, 5kw solar and 10kwh battery system on 12 million homes!!! Planning and grid connection is stopping the renewable energy projects, home solar and storage can be installed in 10 days, no grid infrastructure upgrades needed, and the benefits go on and on. But that would put homeowners in control of their own electric usage, the energy companies and the government would lose billions in profit and tax! That is why they will never allow people to create their own electric.

Doesn't matter how many wind turbines we have, or where they are situated, the national grid doesn't runt to where they are putting them, we haven't got the infrastructure/batteries to conserve the energy, plus where are batteries made, China, how to the Chinese power their factories, coal.

You need to read up on the Crown Estates. It's not run by the King, it's run by Parliament. The King or crown currently gets 12% of the profits as the sovereign Grant (no the tax payers do not pay for the crown) and the treasury takes the other 82% That was £4.1 billion over the last decade.
