The problem is with that, is someone who grew up in a council estate and didn't study politics at Eton or such like, doesn't know the ins and outs of economics to be able to manage an entire economy. Well I've got nearly a full pension but I only payed around 6 months national insurance in any one year, all you actually need to pay is 3 months stamp. You need to understand if you don't get a good pension you can ask for pension credit which they don't want you to do, so generally they just give you nearly the full pension anyway ? Go figure

I am 2 *years* post spinal surgery, where I was left unable to walk. I am still waiting for a wheelchair. My husband is a veteran, we barely had the money to raise our children on his ft amd my pt job, we have paid tax, he laid his life on the line. Yet here we are, in a house the council wont help convert, we have spent his entire pension on making our home accesible, we have run out of money, the council are charging us to change the front door to open out (so I can leave my house) in THEIR property, that we pay rent on and have spent 50k adapting. My husband worked from age of 15. The cost of ULEZ, parking permits, LTN’s, not being able to afford thousands for a new vehicles, cycle lanes bottlenecking traffic etc was ruining our business along with many other local businesses. Well I've got nearly a full pension but I only payed around 6 months national insurance in any one year, all you actually need to pay is 3 months stamp. You need to understand if you don't get a good pension you can ask for pension credit which they don't want you to do, so generally they just give you nearly the full pension anyway ? Go figure

I am 2 *years* post spinal surgery, where I was left unable to walk. I am still waiting for a wheelchair. My husband is a veteran, we barely had the money to raise our children on his ft amd my pt job, we have paid tax, he laid his life on the line. Yet here we are, in a house the council wont help convert, we have spent his entire pension on making our home accesible, we have run out of money, the council are charging us to change the front door to open out (so I can leave my house) in THEIR property, that we pay rent on and have spent 50k adapting.
Yet they have money to burn on so much BS!
I'm done. I'm exhausted. I really don't have much fight left. 🇬🇧
